This is the problem.....

I don't see a problem.  That just means there will be no need for fender trimming on the passenger side.

Looking forward to the build.

I'm with you!  Just cut of the drivers side fender and replace it all with TUBE!  :willynilly:

:sofa:   No, I am in the middle of moving stuff around the yard and cleaning it up.    That stuff should be done by the end of this coming weekend. I want to get it done soon for the night runs at the hammers this summer and the Round UP.  I did bend up the shock hoops before I let the guy take the old bender on friday. I got some small stuff I needed as well.

The summer starts in 17 days. ;)

Lost my internet connection for a few days.

The summer starts in 17 days. ;)
Thanks for the reminder! :brick:  Work has been crazy!! 15 hours yesterday but I have nothing for next week! :headscratch:

ohhhhh :D

where's the build on the green one :gap:
I am just doing a few things to it. It's a pretty cool rig.

The real problem with the taco is this

My goal with the Taco is to put it back to stock for awhile.......I have had it looked at and they say no problem to fix it. I am going to do a new cab. I want something to drive around that gets decent mpg. My cummins isn't getting the that job done, with fuel being $4.50+ a gallon :rivers:  If I am able to keep it long term, I want to supercharge it and put on a Total Chaos kit!! :bayer:

I stopped over at Yotamasters the other day. They did a 3.4 conversion to an `85 runner with an auto. I got to drive it! That was the kick in the ass I needed!! :rofl2:  Well I got work to do!! :burnout:
`87 runner....it was stock....now sas'd, 37's, duals, geared/ locked, 10in bob, half doors, rock lights. etc., etc.,.........coming soon a 3.4 swap!!!

You only got to drive it down the street. Passing people doing 80 on the 210 is a lot more fun. These pictures of it on Big Bear should really motivate you

I saw this rig on the trails at Big Bear. :yesnod: From a distance it looked like a nicely lifted, clean Runner on MTRs. As it got closer, I noticed the hole in the hood and heard the rumble that didn't sound like a 22RE or 3.slow. 8)

Uh NO!!

I have ordered a few parts. A new tubing notcher, HID conversion, and a new power steering pump from PSC. I need new steering arms. They should be here at the end of the week. While I am waiting for those parts, I will work on some little things.

I also ordered those Vision X led rock lights. I can't wait to see those things hooked up!    I have been thinking of cutting and tubing out my rig up similar to Lockup's rig. A little less sheetmetal to drag  :talkingn:.  What do you guys think?

Yea, I would say that "borrowing" a few ideas from Locktup's rig is a good idea.

Any pics or links to the led rock lights? :dunno:

If you decide to go the tube route, the one piece of tubing that seems to take a lot of abuse is the vertical tube just behind the soft top. It seems like every trip I bounce or pivot off of it. Without that tube in a full bodied rig the sheetmetal is toast.  :king:

The one interesting item with the review is the same criticism I have with my LEDs. You really need two forward facing lights that won't blind your spotter (like the stock headlights ), but put off enough light to see the obstacles ahead. :twocents:

:psss: I wish these were 50% brighter:
