Thats Purty....

So how hard is it really to do that? How long did it take you? Would u say the average wrench turning Joe could do it easily?   :)

 Well, it's like this.....

How clean do you want it to be......my cases looked like this when I started......

The front one was worse!! :talkingn:  A good 2hours scrubbing cases by hand and removing gaskets/silicone.
I spent about 3hrs +/- assembling everything. I just took my time. I already had duals....I changed out my dual case adapter for a double bearing design and had to install the V6 adapter to run the R150 trans.  EarlKann did his dual case conversion in about 4 to 5hours start to finish. If you can follow the instructions and a decent wrencher it's not too hard. Just read the instructioins a few times and make sure you have everything you need before you start. Hope that helps!
`87 runner....it was stock....now sas'd, 37's, duals, geared/ locked, 10in bob, half doors, rock lights. etc., etc.,.........coming soon a 3.4 swap!!!

you should be able to get just about there with flat belly on that 20* total of rotation. if there was any body lift it would be cake garenteed.

It's only about 11.5 degrees of rotation. Both cases are rotated through the V6 adapter. I have a body lift. It's a whopping 3/8 of an inch!!  :hahaha:  I will push the drive line up until I have flat belly. I hope to get motor and trans mounts done today. :crossed:

NO!!       As usual..... waiting on a part!!!  :willynilly:     I did get the rest of the link stuff ordered. . I have to change the oil pan, oil pickup tube, and the dip stick. I am waiting on a jig to drill the a hole for the new dip stick.  Don't want to f' that up!   :nope:    The part will be here tomorrow. Then I can get the motor ready to go in and do the motor mounts. If it goes right I should have it in by sunday.  :crossed:

I think you are going to need more popcorn!! :talkingn:

It's going slow. I should start making some good progress real soon.     I was having a hard time with a dipstick mod. In the swap you change to a rear sump oil pan. The dipstick needs to be moved. You have to drill the block. ORS makes a guide for it. I waited for that. When I got that, I found that a normal drill wouldn't work (the head is in the way!). So I had go buy a right angle drill.  It was too big as well!!  This little thing was becoming a huge problem!   :headscratch:    I finally found an answer......a right angle air drill!!  $100 bucks and a week and half later, it's done! Finally!!

I was looking for an oil pan gasket and couldn't find one. 2 days later, I find out that on a 3.4 you use silicone to make the oil pan gasket! :smack:  I want to build motor mounts that use a bushing like the leaf springs. I have a few thing to do the frame and under the hood before I can set the engine/trans in for good.

This wind storm we had on christmas completely finished off my gate.  So as soon as I can finish that, I will be balls out on the runner!   :yesnod:

Turn it in to your insurance. Your homeowners policy will cover it. ;)

Homeowners policy's will cover the wind damage ...some will pay a small claim like that over the phone! Just give them the liner footage of the damage fence and gate and some will calculate it over the phone subtract the deductible and cut u a check.

 The problem........

 Wait for it........

 IMPROPER INSTALLATION!!!!! :talkingn:

The jackass who built the gate never anchored it to the ground or the wall....so home owners won't cover it. I wouldn't claim it any ways (I'll wait for something BIG to use it).

Did you get the axles or links yet?

I got all of the link parts...heims, johnny joints, tubing, etc.  :yesnod:     I got the rear end. Tacoma rear with an Elocker and 4.88 gears.  :)    I want to clean up the brake lines, grind off the pads, and put on the link tabs. I am going to make a truss for it too.

The ifs rear end was sold to SoCal84. I have the Diamond for the front!!! :woohoo::woohoo:
Yesterday I worked on the motor mounts. I have to make a small piece and weld it togather, then the drivers side will be done. I have 1 piece cut out for the passenger side. I have the patterns for the rest of it. My Dad and I are going to go ride our Harleys right now. When I get back I will finish those motors mounts.
