Are you going to let her tell you when you can have your fortress? Stand up to pee man! Tell her you want it and you want it NOW! We'll wait for her response... :nerv:

Ohhh, I beg to differ!  Men realize they need to use our supreme possessions and then they do not return them to their rightful locations!

And Brian is more than welcome to share "my" garage for now, but I'm sure Clampy won't fit in it anyway, so he'll have to just park the Taco there.  And he does have his very own shed already!  We can't quite afford to do his fortress just yet...not the way he wants it anyway.  :(

Well, yes...but I always forget.  Brian looooooooved that truck and it's all he talked about so when he was building the big tan one I always said he was building "his Clampy."  And it kind of stuck and that's just what I call it now because it's easier than "big tan truck."

You must be rich.   You're gettin indoor plumbing and everything.   :cheese:

You should have included the "big boy garage" in the plans and loan so it could be built right away.  Just make sure there is a bathroom, refrigerator and bed cuase it will double as the "dog house"
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Well see, we were approved for a certain amount, told the bank do NOT let us go anywhere NEAR that certain amount....figured we'd keep the house small and be able to do the big boy garage all at once.....and then before we knew it after picking out every last detail of the house, we actually had to TRIM things to get it DOWN to the max that we were approved for.  :headshake:

So no.....the big boy garage cannot be added on just yet.  But it will come ASAP.   :yesnod:

:hyper:    We got roof trusses today!!    :hyper:

And then they started to sheet it in the afternoon, got about halfway done.  Should be completely sheeted with at least the black paper stuff on it so it will be weathered in by the end of the week.

See the "Construction Process" folder at http://photobucket.com/brianandjansnewhouse for lots of new pics, but here are the highlights!   :yesnod:

Current Status:

Setting Trusses:

PEX Plumbing Panel:
(Now THIS thing really trips my trigger!  PEX is "new" plumbing that doesn't have joints, so each and every faucet and fixture has its very own shutoff valve!  No more shutting off the water to the whole house to fix one small problem.  This thing is idiot proof!  haha.  Extremely detailed in the labeling.  I love it!

Master Bath Jacuzzi tub!
(it looks really small in this pic :headscratch:  I'll have to get a better pic once they uncover it...this one is just peeking in at an angle)
