DAMN RICK! you already have the rear getting mocked up.

the rear suspension looks like it will be more simple then the front.... like it will go faster.

keep the progress going!

I'm hoping that by the time you decide to build something even better (Volkswagen bug body on a Toyota frame  :haha:) I'll have enough money to buy this one minus a few parts  :eyebrow: That'd be the best day of my life!

I'm so excited that the weekend is here, not cause I have anything going on, but because Rick will get some major progress and I will get my fix.

You rule Rick.

70 Cam Guy

hey Rick I've been meaning to ask.  A few pages back you posted some McMaster part numbers for the button head bolts you used to replace the 3rd member studs.  I'm modifying my housings to fit elockers front and rear.  One of the new holes is close to the stock breather so I can't fit the bolt in there without trimming or removing the little stamped piece from the inside of the housing.  Do you happen to know of any negative consequences in modifying that part?  I'd guess it's there to keep oil from sloshing out of the breather but I don't really know.  Thanks  :beerchug:

you can see what I'm talking about in this picture although the hole is only center punched in the picture.  They are all now drilled and tapped.
