enjoy it, shaving blows

so for the rig:

tomorrow im taking apart the U joints on my DL's and putting a new set on my DL so i have a DL again. and i might be able to crawl up a wall if my gearing was low enough because my tires stick out just a hair in front and might be able to get me up a wall if i wanted lol.... but depending on what goes on tomorrow i might try to get a torch and move my steering box. ill take some pics tomorrow of my filthy angles, and i got a pic of my DL, it blew enough to shoot the needle bearings out, i got a carnage pic of it. cell phone quality

Did you get duals?  or are you just tryin to get by with the new DL?  Sounds like your rig is gettin buttoned up!  Nice work man!
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

Haha no i just open a bunch of threads up at once and go through em one at a time, and get lost :)

Why not just take the driveline and ujoints to Napa's machine shop and have them do it? I had them do my ujoints. the cost of a new ujoint is what is expensive, the machine shop charged like 10 bucks if that. took em 20 minutes, i went and did some shopping and came back and it was done. its easier than doing it yourself

i do the same with my unread topics

i just went to rebes and picked up a new one instead of dealing with old burnt out ones
nice rig

thanks dude, its gettin close to where i want to keep it for a while... i just need cases, and seats and ill be happy with it for a while, and a few little minor things here and there
why so much trouble with the u-joints?

they were all old and rust, when i picked up the new one i got that lil b*std in prob about 15 minutes with lil buddys help on his garage floor
lets go to the snow! this weekend, every one. :)

went on a snow run last night at about 8 and got home at 4am, it was pretty damn fun till my DL fell off and my buddy cole broke either, both birfs, or hubs, or both. and that happened when we were way the hell out and gone. it was a LOOOONG drive home, but fun none the less over all
Cant :(
Gotta stay with the gf in chico, and work...
But were havin that bonfire soon.. maybe friday night? :beerchug:

i hear that. im thinking of taking my gf out to dinner friday and maybe do some heat attack racing at the fair grounds...

friday night for a bon fire, count me out. my last fire class is sat and i have to be up early for it. it blows but last one and im done with that stuff till i get a job.

update with the rig with the nigh run:

hella badass and fun. the front locker kicked ass. never got stuck to the point of where i couldn't get out on my own. when my DL fell off again i wheeled out in 2wd, hubs unlocked and only had 2 bolts holding the son of a gun on at the t-case. only had to lock up twice, one time i wasnt looking where i was going and went off the trial into the ditch, so i got out, locked up the hubs and putted right out. the 2nd time was a series of idk what they are called, but it was fun. other then that it was easy going out in 2wd aired down to 4 or 5 PSI. i want to go again before the snow melts, but this time not have any :pokinit: go wrong

lol idk... tomorrow im going to the bolt store and getting the same bolts, and same lock nut washers, but instead of buying reg. bolts im going to get the nylocks(sp) and get them bitches down tight...

o and another thing...

my breaks, are ZERO. i dont mean i get some pressure. i get ZERO pressure. i might as well put my feet out and try to stop it. it would prob be safer....

but this week im going to try and do a break overhaul and get my :pokinit: workin at least. me and lil buddy looked and tried some :pokinit: the other night, and i asked him if the rear line could be clogged. he did some wrench turning and well, my rear line is clogged. with what you ask? i have no clue. he also said that i might have blown a wheel cyl. so maybe this week ill get around to swapping :pokinit: between my spare rear axle and the one i have on right now... idk we will see. but breaks are getting taken care of for sure, im over not being able to stop, the risk isnt worth it anymore. its to sketch

Its not the master cyl. The problem lies between the load sensing proportioning valve and the bleeder valves. The LSPV gets hella pressure and the bleeder valves get like barely a drizzle

you know what you should do is swap the metal brake lines that are on the axle and maybe that will do it. if not then maybe the rubber lines are clogged since it happend RIGHT after the sas and the rubber line may be fagged off

What about front brakes? I don't think my rear pads even touch the drum, but I can still stop in a jiffy.
