go with just the MC07... can you use the stock crossmember and add a skid to it?
and then get the budlite a little later?

just food for thought.

Yep but it would be equivelant to some really low geared axles.

like how low? dunno:
too low for highway speeds?

Im trying to remember how to use duals so that you have to really gear the axles to run 35-37s
i thought you can.

:haha:

Well don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure that in 2HI your transfercase is 1:1. So even if you have duals it's the same as without. The only difference being that (assuming a dual ultimate 2.28 + 4.7) you have the option of stock 4low, 4.7 4low, or 10.71 4low.

EDIT: AJ remove the first post of this page...

I used to drive my jeep in 2low all the time on the ranch and it didnt have real low gearing at the time.   I couldnt break 45 on the street.

Your correct however the question was

Which is what I answered...

With 37's at 3000 RPM in fifth gear, 2low (2.28:1), your top speed (assuming a W56) is 41MPH

thanks guys.. so basically, i need gears? or more POWER :driving:

and for a note... ive never been able to hit fifth gear in low gear yet. it sounded like it was grindin in the TC.
so i shifted back into 4th... so i got to 35mph.. (4low)
:haha: maybe its cause my TC was about to blow up... which it finally did!
