Just in case it's not something simple, or you really don't feel like fixing it. If you took it to an actual sterio shop then they should have to fix it for you for free.

I've actually heard that Best Buy is really a problem even when it comes to installing entertainment systems, which is suppose to be their speciality.

Hope it's an easy fix for ya.

yeah for sure... i would have asked the ?'s yesterday but i didnt have time to stay and hang out. ill have to go tomorrow becuase i wont have time today because of school.. it bums me out that for all that stuff.

i think it was becuase of a hardwire they had to do? idk why but i saw that thats what they scanned on the sheet

skipnrocks

Ditto on not trusting those people.  My parents paid like 6-7 grand for this state of the art sterio setup for their house, and its been crappy working since they got it, the "professionals" that installed it used inferior wiring and wired it so it looked like a ball of yarn exploded!  So when I was there over christmas I tore everything out and rewired it, and they havent had a problem since!  Go figure, I dont even like to wire things!

wireing scares me... its not my hobby at all. i would rather pay ppl to wire my :pokinit: then do it myself. but im slowly learning it and its simple, but retarded

DeadlyPeace

Did they tell you about the hardwire before starting the install or was it something that they found out during the install? If it was during, they should have come back to tell you about it before going on with the install. You shouldn't have to pay for it if they don't mention it to you before hand.

They should at least try to call you at your contact number and get approval before installation

For gods sake willy.
Bring it down here, gimme a 40oz. of mickeys and ill completely rewire your whole truck in a night.
I love wiring and im damn good at it.
I grew up fixing all the wiring on my dads log-trucks...

Stereos are easy as pie too.
We had a stereo shop put one in my old toyota truck way back in the day.
Didnt see them do it, but when i went to swap it out, god.. .what a freakin' hack job.
A monkey with a knife and some duct-tape could have done a better job.
I just put in my new alpine deck, the i-pod hookup to it, the xm-radio setup,
Ontherocks's deck, helped Alex with his deck (hes kinda like a monkey with a knife and duct-tape :shhh:)
Im doing my rock lights here soon, complete with all theyre own fuses in a fuse block, relays, the whole nine yards...

Heres my setup:
ill have to get one of it in the truck too, looks so clean...
