locker and when i took my breaks off to pull the axles i noticed the groove on the back of my rotor...in the last one you can see where a something is stock which might have caused the groove? idk...its hard to see in the somewhat middle of the pic...sry for the blurr.... but anybody with photoshop or paint, if you get bored can somebody draw a circle or an arrow around or pointing to it.... what could have caused it???

Doof

and that is that for the pics right now... in the morning im going to cut the legs for my sliders and maybe get those bitches welded on

lilbuddy

all the ends of the stub shafts are 30 spline. longfield just makes a 4340 one that you swap in to replace your stock ones with so you dont strip out the end.

yeah they are heavy as :pokinit:... the d-plate was part of the sliders i was building in my welding class, and they were the only material around that i could chop up and use... i like how it turned out other then the d-plate being on the outside..o well they wont be noticeable unless you get down and check them out up close and personal

i got the 27 set and they kick ass. i think with the star being bigger they hold up probably just as well. the 27 spline set is (30-27-30) and the 30 is easy, (30-30-30)

that would be my functional purpose of a stinger front bumper. hit somebody and the impact is transferreed up ward instead of headon.

You can work a weld and slag down to the metals flat surface like it was never even there.
I love em, but theyre $5-8 a pop for the real good ones..

That would be them, I havent used any top brand ones, just the black and decker from wally world, but I sanded welds for a week and it was still grinding down.... And they grind smooth but dont have a tendancy to dig....  I love em

For finish work (like on welds) I actually prefer a worn-down flapper as it takes less material off and is more forgiving

yeah you can, i had 24-120 but ripped two of them apart when i was sanding down my willys when i first got it.... but the flap disk prob wont cut to well...that what i was doing when i cut my finger.... i was cutting all the angles and :pokinit: for the sliders, went through about 6 cut off wheels and when i as finishing the welds and grinding those down i went through 3 grinding disks, which blows... but i still have my 24 grit flap disk and cleaned it all up with that, and yea they kick major ass
