My runner did it also when i shifted into 5th. i coiuld hardly even ever shift into 5th cause the new tires i got weighed so much more.  I tink its just cause the lack of power and it just rattled.

agreed. this is the biggest thing people need to understand. as you step in up tire size 5 gear becomes more usless. as of now mine is used (EVEN WHEN THE DAMN TRUCK USE TO DRIVE ON THE ROAD ) pretty much never. i know now when i go up to a 40" tire or whatever it be, my 5th gear will be useless in my truck after that.

But i can roll 37's with 4.10 gears and use 5th just fine..

Careful about doing that,
If you do it more on one side than the other, it can make your truck lean sideways...
