have you guys tried tieing the LSPV arm all the way up and see if it changes what you get at the cylinders?

no i dont think so. ill do that also and see what it does

What about front brakes? I don't think my rear pads even touch the drum, but I can still stop in a jiffy.

fronts are clean and shooting clear fluid like its coming out of the bottle. im stumped but hopefully the morning brings good news for my breaks

Oh i totally forgot about that... I forgot you cut yours off.

I will go to bet if you put up the arm all the way they will work great after being bled.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

Doof

didnt you cut that off?

or matt did. i dont remember, but ill check it out

Duffil

that's probably your issue then.  when i swapped on my 1" MC the other day i had the arm down and couldn't bleed them until I tied the arm up.

mine is cut and with the stock MC i had to have it up, but I cut the strap before i tried to bleed.

Doof

thanks for the idea... hopefully it works :crossed:

DTB

you need to just get rid of that thing and get a prop valve from summit....cleans up your whole braking system to the rear and its safer

dunno... and now i have the death wobble from hell. my whole runner was jerking around when i was cruising at 35 or so, but at highway speeds its pretty smooth. u bolts are all tight. im going to check my trunion(sp) bearings and see whats going on. also going to be swapping out the rear axles friday so i have 6 lugs holding on all 4 tires, also going to get to the bottom of my :pokinit: for nothing brakes, and prob get my half door design taped off

Trunions may play a part in it but have you checked your steering arms to see if they are on there tight? also have you aligned it properly?? My tow was off and it gave me horrible death wobble around 20-35 mph, at highway speeds it was fine though. All it took was adjusting the tow and it completely went away.

well here is the new shiz.... im in the process of mapping out my half doors, but im not quite sure where i want to cut the \____/ and how low to make it, and what not... ill use my paint and give some examples....

and for the brakes. i am in the process of getting rear disk, and i am also swapping out my rear axles so i have 6 bolts holding my tires on in the rear... but anyways, as soon as i get those set up i need to build my mounts for those for buy them, depends on the $, and also need to buy a bigger MC. but thats going down pretty right quick like

ill post the pics of my gutted doors and a design or two of what i have in mind

Goose

For my half doors, im gonna higher up than needed, then bend the outer door skin down to make the tops.
Itll be like one smooth fold from outside to the tops of them if it turns out right.
Then get a big sheet of semi-thin sheet metal and sheet the inside so its all smooth, weld it all and smooth out the kinks..
hard to explain, but... youll see..

NorCalToy

makes sense goose. only problem might be when you fold over for the top it is a curved piece of metal so it wont sit all the way flush and wont be as comfy to rest your arm on as a flat piece of metal will. just sumthin to think aobut.

That's not a problem. I did it like that with mine.

Goose

I was kinda thinking of carpeting the inside and possibly the tops too.. but idk..
Definitely gonna incorporate a cup holder into the top...
