IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

no walking the crawler? :joke:

BTW: trans(3.93)*crawlbox(2.28)*tcase(4.7)*diffs(???)=crawl ratio

ie; 5.15*2.28*4.7*4.7*5.29=1372:1  (Marlin's Truck)

Evidently I have reached the capacities of my Dorkyness.  I couldn't video the walking of the crawler.  But yes I did right after the video.  I even called Yeller while i was doing it.  figured you were at work.  :gap:

:tantrum:  :tantrum:  :tantrum:   Crap!   I forgot about my Diff ratio.

3.39*2.28*4.7*4.11=173:1   I'm not even at 200:1 yet.

Makes me want to do Diff gears next, but I already have my next mod 90% planned out.  :lipsrsealed:

Of course I used my Marlin Shift Knobs on my twin stick.

I like the set up, but I think I am going to shorten them by and inch or two.

Got the bumper on last night as well.  Its not 100% structural as yet.  I wont be able to clearance the last bolt holes, so I will have to lift the body to have those tabs welded to the frame.  I should just weld the whole thing on anyway.  :yesnod:

Looks good, and funny vid  :joke:

Guess I cant say much, I still havnt gone double low yet  I am still waiting to get my Runner out here to the swamp. Had to change shipping companies after the 1st 1 screwed with me.

How many mounting points on that bumper?

thanks.  :gap:

They didn't lose your rig did  they?

There are 8 total bolt's for the 84, 85 years.

7 and 8 are the ones that are problematic for me.  they slide in between the frame and the body and bolt to the top of the frame, right next to the body mounts.

Good to know Mini, thanks.

I still need to modify a couple of washers for the two lower bolts so they can clear the Welds a little bit better.

Yeah, i forgot about that, switch from flat washers to grade 8 washers (smaller OD but pricey)

Perhaps they are related to the Celica seats.  I don't know much about them. :dunno:   These came on the truck brand new.  It had a "california sport" or deluxe package.  something like that.  it had all the fixens.  like the chrome trim that i ripped off.  But they have been comfy.  :D
