A buddy's dad is driving his f550 work/service truck as a support rig.  Its fully equipped with welder, generator, torch etc. etc. and he knows how to use them, unlike me I hope everything goes smoothly im already starting to get a little nervous, and that is NOT like me at all.    I think everything will go smoother after its up and running.

Nope not yet.  I did finally drill the firewall and mount the clutch master.  I also killed that annoying little torture device that buzz's when the key is in the ignition.  I built the new square tube driveline and made the front shackle tubes.  Unfortunatly my neighbor that owns the welder borrowed it back from me and returned it with an empty bottle.   So unless I find another bottle before monday its gonna be monday afternoon before its on the road.

It was good to meet you also White Trash. We will be there to watch you guys in Goldendale. I have a spot reserved in the Crash Luxury Camper, no sleeping in the 4-Runner this time. Us old people got to have our comforts. I will be the one with Rascal & the oxygen bottle.

Yes & her dad took me fishing all day Thursday. A woman & fishing all in one trip. All that was missing was a little wheeling. Get that truck done & then I can engineer the perfect trip

Glad you had a good time.  Hate to see you waste a trip.  Im gonna be in Goldendale on thurs. afternoon to get a spot with hookups for the crews 5th wheel.  We're bringing Justin's (you met him at my house) dads work truck which is fully equipped for such an event as this.  Gonna be a hoot to say the least.

Everything has fell into place today!  I bought a 20lb. bottle of CO2, picked up a torch, (thanks ShawnB), got all the bolts again, (Shawn needed the last set), got the tube for the frame sleeves cut and almost installed!  I also picked up a brand new set of braided brake lines for the front (Again thanks Shawn!)  Now I just gotta get back out in the shop and put the front back together!

Just as quick as everything can fall into place it can also fall out of place.  I have one sleeve into the frame but Im havine issues getting the other one.  I need to take out my header and exhaust to drill the driver side rail.  Ill get it done tomorrow, Im tired of looking at the truck for today.

The tires on it now are 38x12.5's.  Ive got a set of 40" gumbo's for the snow.  I made the mistake of not paying close enough attention to the rules, and I had to move my front axle back 3" beings I had moved it ahead 6" and your only allowed 3+/-

Brainless go to www.mapquest.com and type in Goldendale WA as a destination good directions.  The town is about 20 miles into WA across the columbia river from Biggs junction

Its about 1 1/2 actually because part of it is going over a mountain pass.  I could go the long way which is to go about a mile from biggs and take a turn off the highway but thats about30 miles farther.

Yup no flex "pics" except the ones in my mind.  It doesnt do too badly if I do say so myself.  The rear is a bit too soft and the front seams about right.  I still need to do the bumpstops and shock mounts but everything else is functional and DRIVING!  Maybe I can con Shawn into bringing his digi by for all you.

Oh maybe Ill drop it in the river.....Do you think it could survive it again?  lol  I bled the p/s system after I made the correct hoses for it.  It turns nice!  I have never owned a 4x w/power in 6 years!  So its kinda new to me     Ill have to get pics tonight sometime, maybe tomorrow Im putting a 5 speed in the 85 x-cab I bought
