Bit off topic with the discussion, but I think it'd be pretty cool if everyone put their board name on their windshield somehow. Be it window paint, piece of paper taped to it, or a sticker, I think it would help different people Identify each other, even if they don't necessarily recognize the rig
It's not that cold at night. I wore shorts and regular shirt on saturday night all they up till about 11pm. then i put my sweatshirt on and still kept the shorts and it felt pretty good. And i slept outside in my sleeping bag not even in a tent and i was actually kinda hot. I don't expect it to get any colder in 3 weeks.
good Idea BDor ever one can wear a "hello my name" is sticker
yeah, except people putting on coats, or taking off sweatshirts, or just changing, the stickers would get lost
Thats just wrong Kyle , cant wait to meet you too Mrs Willy Mammoth
Oh yeah, not to mention they would fall off then we'd have sticker garbage all over the trail.OK bad idea. We'll just bring a bunch of permenent black markers and write 'Hello my name is _______ " on everyone's foreheads.
i think writing your name on the windshield would be best
Are you talking about last year Hyena? Or a recent experience? Last year Fri. night was probably in the 40's and Sat. night it got cold enough to freeze whatever drinks we had left out, we had frost on our table when we were packing it up. Hyena must have polar bear blood to have been warm in that. But it doesn't mean the temps will be the same this year. Every handles temps different, just be prepared if cold bothers you.
If your wondering who i am at the roundup come and introduce yourself and i'll tell you my real name, does that sound about right?
and I might have my Stereo a little loud
Question do we need a permit for our camp stoves I know that for a camp fire it's in designated areas only w/ permit when its OK but I herd that we needed one for our stoves too, is this true and if so where do we get them You will know who I am by the large USMC flag flying... and I might have my Stereo a little loud
Permits are required for open fires, such as campfires, barbecues and portable stoves.
Yani is ok.
Nah, i was up there last weekend. I hiked in with some friends. I was thinking about spray painting my board name on my hood so people could tell it was me since i don't have a windshield anymore.
Its not looking good for my attendance at the Roundup. Ryan
