when you finally bump out of *kid* status, you'll be paying more like $50 a year for insurance. I think I can get mine for $53 right now.
I wear a helmet when its cold which is 8 months a year here
Not to get preachy, but why not wear it all the time? A good quality helmet is the only reason I'm alive. Metal reflector posts and heads don't mix well.
