All you should need is a clutch kit, fiber and metal plates.  What other parts are you coming across, and what brand kits are you finding?

We had a warm day too so my son and I went for a ride yesterday.  There are still patches of snow in the real shady areas of the forest so it was interesting flying down some of our favorite trails.  Man, talk about sideways,  wooohooo...  Good times!  I'm hopin' it stays warm enough that we can finish the practice track but the weatherman says otherwise...  BUMMER!!!

Preferably one of my motorbike jackets, boots, and some sturdy pants.  All year.  I'd rather my skin be a little uncomfortable for the little bit of time I'm stopped or in traffic, than be uncomfortable for weeks or months and have nasty road rash all over.

Yea I was just curious... I usually have on leather boots, jeans, and a riding coat. I have a mesh summer coat with built in pads that has a zip in "wind proof" liner and I just recently got a super nice winter coat. Its made by I think Field Sheer but it has a super warm zip in liner and minor padding as well

When I had my street legal dirtbike, I used farmer armor (Carhartts), steel toe boots, gloves, and helmet. I really need to get it put back together :( it has been 4 years since it was in one piece.

I finally got my clutch ordered and its supposed to be here Friday along with an air filter. Hopefully I can find time to bust it out along with the timing cover gasket on my Ranger. I need wheels now that I finally have a job lined up.

Congrats!  Make sure you follow any break in advice they gave you, would suck to have a shuttery clutch.

Cool, you're probably good to go then.

Went for my first ride of the season, and it started out frickin cold!  Everybody rode well and we had a blast, but unfortunately my friend's bike slid off the small rock he set under the kickstand and fell over  :ack:  Saw tons of deer too, 7 of them running down a twisty mountain road.  Didn't push much at all, only had a small handfull of slightly sketchy moments, mostly because there's still a ton of dirt/silt/gravel on the road from this winter.

RIP Johnathon Richard Neils.  He died when a cement truck turned in front of him this morning while he was riding on a local highway in town.  They haven't said yet if he was speeding, but have said alchohol and drugs didn't seem to be a factor.  I didn't know him, but you never know who you've ridden with and have just don't remember.  Best wishes to the family, it can't be easy to deal with.

That's so sad for everyone involved...the victim's family as well as the driver and his.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first.

Similar thing happened to a guy here a year or two ago. A guy in a hummer blew through a light and hit/killed a guy on a motorcycle. Sad stuff. Be safe out there guys, you never know what might happen.

Truly sad.  You can see NorCalToy's sig line for the reason I'll ride as long as I can.  I can die riding my bike tomorrow, or I can die slipping in the shower.  No matter what, I will die at some point, so I choose to enjoy myself while I can!

Hell, for that matter I once told my parents during a visit that if I died while riding my motorbike, they could take solice in knowing I died happy while doing something I loved.  I then proceeded to wad it up hard shortly after and lost almost a day of my life  :ack:
