1.5x.120, nothing special. Bent it on a Harbor Freight tube "kinker" and yes, it kinked it :(

Put this together so I can drive my truck after I tore my Achillies tendon on my clutch foot. It works. Angles are a bit goofy on the hiems but it all works.

Goldrush

How did you tear your tendon?

Basketball. It popped so easily it's crazy. If got 6 more weeks of rest before physical therapy starts, then weeks to months before I can walk without my helper boot. Muscles in my calf have really atrophied, will take for ever to get them back since I can walk at all :(

But I will be at MCR, driving hopefully :)

Wainiha

Hope you get better.  I have a knee injury.  I pray the doc doesn't give me that kind of news today.

That rig up is awsome.  My friend has two achilles that don't work.  He has a similar setup w/ a lever to the brake pedal.

Thanks you guys, I can't wait to try it out offroad but it'll have to wait until I get a set of front shocks.

jrock

Anyone know of or have a pair of Fox 2.0 12" reservoir shocks for sale? In the less than $250 range? Even if they need a rebuild.

jrock

jrock

New shocks giving me a problem. 12" Fox shocks are 1.5" longer collapsed than 12" Bilstein 5125s, and my old Bilsteins were mounted too low. Plus I decided to move my passenger bump stop rearward .25" to more center it on the spring pad. So, cut and moved the hoops up, cut and mounted new shock mounts on hoops, and added larger braces to the hoops.

jrock

New reservoir location.

You bringing your pup?
Ill know tomorrow.

Also, put the T100 fuel pump in so the 3RZ feeds well. The 22re pump worked but its range was 22-32psi, the 3RZ uses 32-44psi. Ill be looking for my low RPM stumble to go away.

What day are you heading in?

That's the plan. You still planning to drive your rig too Loon?

superyota

Yup.  Don't have any other option at the moment.  Trailering my dads rig up since its all freshly put together.  Don't want to take any chances with it and have issues, especially after everything that happened with it last year.  Hoping this will be a better trip for him.
I think I'll be ok.  Last time my rig was on the road was when Wilms blew his radiator and we did the switch around with all the rigs and trailers.  You ended up towing my trailer back to bakersfield for
me and I drove my rig. What a mess. Lol.  The good ol days of living in bako. Lol

Haha, forgot about that. Your on 40s now. It'll be a bit different going up hill this time :)

First real run on all my newly put together parts, and I do this.... It's kinda pretty :)

Going thru here,

superyota

Yea,  that's why I'm giving myself 1.5 hours extra to get there.  My top speed will probably be 25 heading up through Georgetown.  Lol.

See you tomorrow night.  Drive safe.

At MCR I broke a front ring gear and driver outer hub,

Then the following weekend I went to Hollister and broke the new front gears and both outer hubs :)

What to do. Regear with cryo'ed low pinion gears or HP eLocker. One is $200, the other $400 ish. Not sure I like an eLocker.

Does anyone know of an all in one nut to replace the nut and cone washers on the steering arms? I need something different.

88_Pathy

I have the front axle you want for sale... shameless plug.. and I know on the studs i know Marlin had a 9/16 d44/60 stud mod that they were doing in the past.

Goldrush

I vote HP Zip i get you set up with!

I would like to run a comp zip locker or Detroit but I found a good third with a spool I'm going to run for a bit. May end up putting my Detroit back in it or saving for that zip or Detroit HP :)

Any links to tapered nuts to replace the cone washers and nuts on the steering arms?
