Thanks I'm happy with it I think. The wife kinda dug it. As for the b pillar don't worry I'm not leaving that. I will pull the foam and weld a cap on it and clean it up. Eventually when I get the door tubes in I will skin those with a 3rd gen door.

kdub0013

Stayed up late against my better judgement and got the rest of my cars board templates cut out so I can cut them with the plasma tomorrow after work. I am also using some commercial grade carpet I have to insulate and help deaden the sound from the floor. The back passenger area will get it also. I also hooked the amp and can speakers up, boy they don't sound the same without a sub oh well. I will clean all the wires up a zip tie them where needed.

These cans are going somewhere just not sure where yet.

kdub0013

Got home late from work and busted out the plasma. Cut out the remaining floor pieces, cab infil pieces and the front upper shock mount gussets. Came inside to hang out with my daughter but then it's back outside to weld and hopefully install the all the led rock lights and finish wire the stereo. Getting close now.

kdub0013

Finished the floor, need to get more carpet for the tunnel tomorrow. I will eventually seam seal everything, for now I need to just get it on the trail.

Where are we going? And why are we in a handbasket?

My friend is goin to moan this weekend - RockcrawlinJK

kdub0013

Carpet is the way to go, wish I had shag.

kdub0013

Just about finished 4. Hours ago. Seats and harnesses in, rock lights in, speakers in. Fabbed up a battery tray and zip tied everything. Bolted all my steering together and finished the carpet on the tunnel. I'd say it's about 90% but there are a few things I will fix after a good summer of wheeling!

Rig goes on the trailer tonight. Need to bleed the brakes, solder a couple of wires, notch the tranny tunnel on the passenger side for seat clearance at the sheet metal skin and basically ready. Goin to try and add a couple tubes up at the front stinger back to the hoop at the radiator as well.

kdub0013

Well she made it on the trailer and is ready for fordyce. Wife an kid aren't going now which sucks but at the same time I'd rather do the shakedown run solo In case something happens.

You made it happen  Nice job!

kdub0013

Thanks dude. It's been a long time coming and I am glad the major work is done.

Had a great shakedown run this weekend at fordyce. We went in committee crossing and came out Indian springs expecting to take the five dollar trail but one of the rigs in our group had no steering. Anyway good trip and I will post up more pics when I get my camera I forgot to grab from y buddy's wife.

I attempted wh3 but was denied because that stupid hole full of sloppy mud kept my tires nice and slick. I will try it again when it dries out because I almost had it.

The truck performed well. Rides like a caddy and those new seats were perfect. I have zero soreness or aches after 2 days of hard wheeling. We played until about 4am and wheeled all day on our way out.

The only complaint I have is my steering. I can't turn all the way driver for some reason. I can do it lock to lock with the tires off but not with them on. I assume it's a mixture of spool and drive flanges. The full hydro works great otherwise.

I was there, it happened! Another rig in the group blew up their rear 3rd and I got called to bring them a spare, ended up wheeling with them (ridding passenger) all day today. Great trip, I'll post my pictures later.

I'll confirm the pics. Looked like a terrific weekend. Love the rig.

The camera ones are better, these are off my phone that I took.

All the good stuff is on my camera.

x250f23x

:o some good pics in there! Any vids?

kdub0013

There are some videos on my camera which is at my buddy's house. Ill get them this week sometime. Ill upload them to you tube also because lately the amount of YouTube videos and fordyce sucks. There were several people I didn't know taking video as well so maybe they will be on one of these forums.

Saw a good write up on the howe website about steering bleeding.

I am going to try and crack the lines at the ram first and cycle the wheel. Next step is to crack the lines at the pump, but I don't think that will be an issue. The last step will be pulling the ram apart and seeing if there are any kind of stops installed inside. Guess when you piece together a full hydro setup these issues are expected.

kdub0013

OK so got my rig home yesterday and looking it over everything held up real nice. I need to cut the front hanger off and move it forward and down a bit to correct the shackle angle and get a better pinion angle. While at Fordyce last weekend I noticed the shackle was smacking the frame here and there.

Next is the steering. If I can't successfully bleed it and get the ram to work properly 22ret here on pirate was nice enough to let me borrow an ag ram he had to swap and see if that solves the problem.

My rear axle shaft is leaking at the hub/shaft flange so need to fix that which is fine because I am going to change the gear oil out anyway since I was breaking the gears in.

Lastly is the driver front caliper has a leak and the bleeder, hopefully it just needs tightening.

Looks good Keith! Should be a good summer of wheeling!

It sure will be, let's go next weekend!

kdub0013

Traded the 42's for these 39.5 Iroks on a 17" walker Evans beadlock. Ill probably trade the 39.5 for a 41-43 range though. I wanted the 17" wheel so my rig wasn't so wide.
