breaks are done.  i put another orbital on today and that one is the wrong one too.  so i may just scrap the full hydro idea and put a steering box back on it.  im really getting frustrated with this pile of :pokinit:.

Don't give up on it.  My buddy has the same p/s stuff you have and it whined like crazy until he found out that the low pressure side was running vacuum line (our local hydraulic guy said its a common mistake) which was making the line collapse and restricting flow.   Once he put the correct hoses on there is made a world of difference.  I'd make sure you have the correct lines running to everything before you give up.

TIMS89CRAWLER

dont give up bro you have got it this far and im sure you will get it figured out soon!  :beerchug:

I do, i installed my roommates orbital and it ran tits.  its just the orbitals that i have arn't the right ones.  i am really getting tired of taking them on and off.  waisted a lot of power steering fluid already.

TIMS89CRAWLER

use ATF its half the price and the exact same stuff...

I'd have to 3rd the pacesetter idea.  I didn't think they'd be all that great but after I got mine for my tacoma I was actually very impressed.  Great price and actually a very nice product at least for the Tacoma.  Nice thick flange and nice welds.  The only complaint I have was that I had to already replace the lower downpipe gasket with a good copper one, and the paint instantly flaked off.  No biggy though I still really like it.

Hyena

ya the paint didn't last,  i haven't checked the lower gasket yet.

gotrocks

mine came out within the first 200 miles.  Kinda pissed me off because i was driving on the highway and had an hour to go.  I hate exhaust leaks.

TIMS89CRAWLER

the paint on those damn things never last....

I.D.G.A.F

cover it with header wrap, that way you don't get pissed off everytime you look at it.

Hyena

i don't care really.  if you notice my header looks likes crap then you haven't seen the rest of the truck!  :)
