uh oh, looking good big guy.  looks like you even have your party glove on and everything.  Hows the front flexing?

Hyena

Hyena

It flex's a lot better, and it was even stable at that angle.  the front still flex's good too.  I am totally happy and surprised it turned out this good.

Ramrod

What brackets did you use for the links? Ballistic Fab? You may have mentioned already but how long are the shocks? Looks awesome, you should be very proud of it.
If you still have control you aren't going fast enough

I have got to find a "How-to" site that actually gives more in depth measurements so I can build the confidence to link my 85. That looks so awsome!

Hyena

its really not as hard as everyone thinks.  the top axle truss adn the side frame brackets i got from Ballistic Fab.  The bottom axle brackets i got from Blue Torch Fab.  the other brackets i made at work because they were pretty easy.  i have 5 inches of shaft showing at ride height.  these are 16 inch travel 2.0 air shocks.

Thanks. It looks really simple on your truck for some reason.

Do you have any tips or is there something you would do different if you did it again?

limiting chains i am thinking.  no pics of the shock mounts yet.  i am getting a new camera for my birthday though.

Tip are to buy the brackets.  it is soo much easier and quicker.

What actually sets the ride height? Is it the height the shocks are mounted or is it the charge of the shocks?

Brad think about welding another set of upper shock tabs a couple of inch's inboard of where they are mounted now. The tabs will have to be longer to make up the difference with the increase angle. That way we can play with the setup at the Hammers and see what works best.

Ride height is depends on how much the shocks are charged.
