I will make it to the round-up if i have to put my old birfs back in.  I still have one treated longfiled that is good and i have 4 spare birfs that are stock.  I just won't be able to do the hard stuff.  (ya right, i will try it anyway)

I have 3 auto classes.  AT 61 Vehicle and Engine Analyzation, AT 64 Hydrolic/Brake Systems, and AT 79 Suspension and Wheel Alignment.  Had my first class today (AT 64)  It was pretty cool.  Not boring or too hard yet.  I have the other 2 classes tomarrow.

The collages around here dont have :pokinit: for auto, the community college used to have a real sweet auto program but they dumped it. My gf goes to sac state and they dont have :pokinit:. I dunno bout Davis but who cares, they wouldnt let me step foot on that campus. What college are you going to Hyena?

I'm going to the santa rosa jc and they have a really good auto program.  I am not taking any but I have lots of friends to have/do.  I chose the natural resource management/hippy route and after 2 weeks I'm already over the tree huggers in my class.

Hyena

I am going to Sierra College in Rocklin.

Ordering 30 spline cromoly birfirlds tomarrow!!!!!!!!!!!  Little Sluice here i come!!  Im gonna test them like no tomarrow.  :)

Hyena

The new axles will be in the mail tomarrow, hopefully i can get them on friday and install them this weekend.  Then it won't be a last minute thing like always.

Hyena

Got the new axles in and the truck is ready to go.  Evene took it for a test drive.  first time it had seen pavement in over a month.  Now the only problem is getting a trailor.  the guy i usually barrow it from is out of the state.  his trailor is hooked up to his truck and they are both parked in his shop locked.  I talked ot his wife and she is trying to call him.  If i can't get that trailor i will see if i can get Chris's trailor (Toy on 40s).

RIP Gatekeeper you will be missed!

Hyena

Give him a call.  I guess if worst comes to worst i can drive my toy up there.  Just need to air up my tires and switch drive lines.

Before going through Little Sluice and major rock crawling.

Springs are a custom front pack made up of stock rears, waggys and a cut chevy leaf.  Rear springs are 63 inch chevies.
I have wanted to do an exo on mine for the longest time.  but now it isn't even worth it.  So its gonna be buggified in a month or two.

Hyena

Kinda funny.  In those 2 pics, the only things that are the same are the cab (and everything inside), bed, frame, engine, tranny, front bumper, and rims.  Everything else is different.

Ya, the damn door opens.  It just doesn't close.  and the outside panel is starting to come off.  I think i need to do something about that before it just falls off.

Before you do the buggy though you have to take it out for one last bashing at the 'Con. Give the body a real beating and make sure to take lots of pictures  Kinda like a ritual for sending the sheetmetal to a better place. :rofl2: R.I.P.

I was actually about to ask about when you were going to buggy it, because i read in another thread (one about mcr4) that those were your plans. What are your plans for the buggy?

Hyena

Not totally sure yet.  I think we are gonna keep the firewall and dash and work around that.  Keeping the front suspension, frame, and steering.  The back is gonna get a 4 link with coils.  Keeping the stock gas tank and moving it.  The cage design isn't done yet.  It's gonna be a 2 seater.  Keeping both axles because they are built.  I hope to get it done as soon as possible.  But i am going to college and i have to pay a loan back to my parents before anything starts to happen.

bigman

good luck with all that hyena hope it turns out the way u want it to
