Actually the only thing i can sawzall/angle grind is the rear fender.  I think it is going to hit on the rear bumper the most  :(

crawlerdan

Hyena

No torche, no plasma, no cannon, im not at school anymore  :(   Alll i got is an angle grinder and a welder.

crawlerdan

Hyena

Na, just use a cut-off wheel, works good.  but i only got one left and the hardware store never has any wheels.  I bought the last nine they had on the shelf last week.

Hyena how much lift are you running.  I just made the jump from worn 35's to 37 and I had to do a little suspension mods to get mine to fit.  I don't like to have my rig lifted more than I have to but just enough to not hit to much when I flex.

Old tires and rims will be for sale once i get the new rims.  I have about 7 inches of lift.  I think the 37's might rub on the front fender wells even though i tubbed them.  Pretty sure the tires will hit the rear bumper.  But that isn't bad, won't hurt the tires the way the bumper is made.  Hopefully will have them mounted tomarrow.

Well i went up and camped at Loon Lake Friday and Saturday night.  Hit the Rubicon Saturday.  Went through Little Sluice again.  Tore my truck up even more then last time.  Here are the pictures.  not many.  was more focused on wheeling.

More.  I don't have a mirror anymore for my half door and the drivers side door doesn't shut good, so i am going to leave that closed and just hopp over it.  and also the seat belt wasn't  working so great becasue the cab smashed in soo much.

Hyena

last, you see how much the door is smashed in.  hits both my seat and the dash.

she is actually pretty cool, her first time wheeling.  She doesn't whine or anything, eccept when Jeeps are slowing us down like they did all saturday.  :(   She only got scared when i went up Soup Can and through Little Sluice.  I had to talk her into riding with me in little sluice.  she wants to go with me this weekend too.

MUDDONKEY

well with al the new ddamage, you need something pretty in there to balance it out!!  she's like a  :bling: :bling:hood ornament!!

You know you can run that line, why not try another way? Maybe going up next Sat. July 2nd for the day. I like to watch the MEATHEADS tear up the trucks in the Box. Wait, thats us. I finally took a look at the driver door and got it to open and close now, but it is still bashed in  :_order:

Im going up Thusday this week and will coming home Sunday.  If i can get a trailor to tow my toy then i will try almost any line.  Im not afraid of body damage, i just needed my truck to drive back on the road, well not anymore.  Everyone meet my new DD/tow rig.  1997 GMC 1500 Z71.

Hyena

I have yet to tow my toy becasue i don't have a trailor yet.  If i can't find a trailor to borrow by Thursday then i have to drive my toy up there.  BTW, what rear axle is that?  I heard that the Z71's came with a 14 bolt rear axle.  I count 14 bolts but it doesn't look like the other 14 bolts i have seen.

crawlerdan

my brother-in -law used a 98 z71 as a tow rig for a while, it did ok, but he now drives a cummins deisel :rofl2:

crawlerdan

and thats a 6 lug, semi-float 14 bolt, with a smaller ring gear than the other 14 bolts, only 9.25, or9.75, i forgot. there ok, just dont run big tires and hp.

Hyena

Thanx!!!  Im not going to lift it or but bigger tires on it.  I might add a little more hp later down the road when i will actually have money.
