not yet, nothing new at least.  I got a few more minor stuff to deal with.  It has another exhaut leak coming from the manifold.  Looks like one of the studs stripped out.  so i now have to replace the gasket again (just replaced it a month ago) and i have to tap out the hole for a bigger stud/bolt.  then i have to put my axle housing under it and it will be ready for memorial.

I actually just sold the flatbed.  wasn't street legal and i kinda like the regular bed better.  Don't have to tie everything down.  I sold it for $150, it only cost me $80 to make.  Some of the money from that went to the rock lights.  I still may make another flatbed to suit my needs now that i know what i may want.

And now my front 2 rocklights are dead.  well, one will turn on if i hit it a couple times.  the other one has a blown bulb.  I don't know why becasee i didn't have them on.  The bulb broke when the light wasn't even on.  And i don't know why but Rebies doesn't carry that bulb even though they sell those lights.

Ya, i don't have a job.  Don't have enough for 37's.  Plus i still need to get my truck ready for memorial, and that cost more money.  I should have the money for that though.

Got a few things done today.  I got the rock light bulb in the mail today and it works now.  I also finished my exhaust.  I bought a Turbo Muffler from Riebes a few weeks ago for $20.  It is 2 1/4 in and out. And i also bought an addapter to addapt it to the stock toyota size. I welded it on the day i got it so it has been on for awhile.  I went back to riebes today and bought 4 pieces of 2 1/4 exhaust piping.  2 straight pieses of about 1 1/2 - 2 feet in length.  and 2 pices of 45 degree bends.  I also bought 2 rubber mounts.  All that was $30.  So i spent about $55 from the addapter back. Pretty good i guess, did it myself and saved a load of money.  So here are the pics.  first is of the turbo muffler a,d the custom mount i made for the exhaust hanger.

Got the axles mostly done.  just need to replace the drivers side rear axle bearing.  won't be drivable until at least Tuesday.

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=7629.60

The rear axle bearing and seal cost me $80 after tax today from Napa in Georgetown.  Money is getting tight.

the axles are all done.  but they both leak right were the third mounts to the axle.  the front is ok, but the rear leaks bad.  I gotta pull the third back off and ultra grey it a lot.  Plus me and James (Jack8542) rebuilt my front brake calipers and put new brake pads on today.  I am trying to get a lot of stuff done before memorial.  All i have left to do is fix my exhaust leak at the manifold, get another mtr to replace the one i popped, and hopefully change my 4 inch blocks to 2 inch blocks and make longer shackles.  Not much do do, but not much time either.

Switched from 4 inch blocks to 2 inch blocks today.  Lowered it 2 inches.  Should cutdown on axle wrap.  I plan to make 2 inch longer shackles i nthe next couple weeks to put it back near what it was.  I also traded a couple 1/4 inch wheel spacers for an inclinometer at the Webilt swap meet.  Mounted it on my dash.  Just have to hook up the light for it.  and hopefully we fixed the rear axle leak.   :crossed:

pictures of what i did today.  Switched the blocks and U-bolts.  Dirtbag gave me the 2 inch blocks and U-bolts.  but they were for a waggy, i had to grind the inside of the u-bolt out to fit around the axle tube.  But it worked find.  The camera is still messed up.  Maybe moisture in the linse.

the Grant steering wheel Dirtbag traded me yesterday at the swap meet.  I had to modify (tear apart, run over, bash with a hammer, cut) my old steering wheel to make this one fit.  I had to cut the spline part off the old one and weld it on the new one.  That took some time.  and btw Dirtbag, i left the camo cover off of it becasue it looked stupid and too big.

And then here is the inclinometer i mounted today.  It has a light in it so i had to wire it to a switch.  and btw, i already went past 30% on the road.  Maybe it was just bouncing when it did that, but it was still funny.
