:hyper: Are you doing this one as a 2-pass also? I think we talked about it but I don't remember. :hammerhead:

No, I think it will be easier and more effective to just make it as a single pass. The larger the core is the longer the water will stay in the radiator so I am sure it will be fine.

If not I will charge the system with liquid notrogen.  :gap:

I see um! I see um!

I would think that single pass would be the best. It would slow the flow of water thru the core down to get better cooling.

edit: guess it took me too long to type that. :yesnod:
It ain't worth doin' if you don't have to clean up afterwards!

time to start thinking on the oil cooler Mark  :yesnod:
I bought a 1987 Wrangler YJ and the rad in that is 4 rows of pipe which I intend using with new tanks. Although I have a 3 row Japanese one at the moment in my CJ I have never seen it crossing the "normal" range even during height of summer 48 - 50 Deg Celcius outside temp.
:yikes: yes I live in a furnace.......

I still need to make the inlet and outlets fittings before welding the tanks on.

I am also going to build an expansion tank to help keep the pressure in check.

The front end is going to be 5" longer to accomidate the new radiator.

What's it take, bout 50 gallons to fill that thing up?
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Very nice work on the upper inlet, and the radiator in general.  Top notch, as usual.

It is such a sloppy fit to start with it will be a better fit 5" longer. You could allways just tweak the curve a little and it shouldn't show.

I could just start over and make a new one, you remmember I made this one right?

I am just going to cut off the front and make an extension with a new bead.
