At least he is getting the engine now, if we go with the powerstroke it could be 40 days or more before we get it shipped here.

Bazzi - Uber Genius!!

I just spoke to him. He's just hitting Atlanta now, and the engine is on the trailer.  :willynilly:
He stopped at a Cracker Barrel a little ealier, had a big breakfast and a couple cups of :coffee: and he has a cooler full of water and gatorades.

He said he'lll probably take a break and get a nap on the other side of Atlanta. He probably won't be home before 8:00ish or so. When he stops I'm sure he'll check in.

uhhh... we have the 1kzt 1993 in the 4runner. and 1996 in the prado. you have to find the clutch housing from the diesel engine, but that housing also fits on the v6 gear box. r151 ? .... I called an junk yard here to find a prize of one of those and he will get back to me in the morning.....

BoG-ToY

I still need to come down to the south again, stop by and meet the mammoths, might drive the prius down to key west....just to say we done it,
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

Nah, I be up in Wichita by then.  Or I won't be having my truck ready to go!

MWM, you would have to let me know what route you are planning to take and I can see if there is a good spot to intercept.

:slap: this is not a leisurely road trip! this is hauling butt to Cali again for MCR6! :shake:
And depending what route we take, I-10 or I-40, CT would have to meet up with us if he wants to caravan with us.
If he is going to we would take I-40 going out then. I assume that would be closest to him. But then again I-40 is, in part, Rt. 66. Just not the cool parts.
