Mounting that steering box you should tilt it forward to where the pitman arm is pretty close to the frame. I have mounted my steering box wrong on my old truck. Causing the leaf spring to hit the pitman arm at full "stuff" and making it so I couldn't turn anymore.

I have a flat pit amn arm so I can tilt it to much... in the pic the truck is turned hard left so when turned centered it clears the frame by .5"

the shackles are Sky-manufacturing... you can do RUF with out them but you have to modify your body mount on the frame... I havent flexed them out but can already tell that its gonna be close with the shackle... the gys at Sky are very helpful and thats what made it an easier decision to buy them

updates
messed around with my high lift and seeing were and if I have any binds... so far nothing with steering the only prob is my boomerang shackle hits the body mount at drop and limits further down travel so I need to tak my grinder to it at some point

Looks like a great build so far.

You could put the lockers in your existing gears and then swap them over to the 5.29's when you get new tires.
I did run my DD on 5.29's for a few days with 32's after lifting it while waiting for my tires to come in. It did just fine, even got it up to 120 MPH, but don't remember how much difference there was in the RPM's.

my dad wants the gears I have for his 82 if they dont sell so he wold need the whole 3rd so I would need new 3rds so I was thinking just buy some new 3rds with 5.29s and lockrites $800(each) from sky or rebuild my old rusty 4cyl 3rds for $800(each) I think Id rather just have new V6 3rds than rebuilt 4cyl 3rds

just for kicks could I have 5.29s installed with my current bearing on my V6 3rds?

i think it stops the shackle from hitting the body mount when you add longer than stock springs
