sold the 33s planning to go woith some ATs instead I do to much street diving compared to offroad and if I do need a MT I still got my BFGs...

I also lowered my truck about 1-1.5" and I like the look of almost stock but still have the performance of lots of suspension travel currently running my old set of 235/75/15s lol and it doesnt look to bad

Just remember that if the tires don't rub, then the tires ain't big enough -Runar

still need to do bumpstops on the front to keep my tierod out of my oil pan and ether redrill my shackles or find some 4.5" shackles to correct my pinion angle and lower it a lil more Im going for a stock look but cant still flex and crawl anywhere you point it... gonna try and do 63" chevys in the rear with low-no lift (atleast level with front)... I already am spooled front and rear next is duals then maybe 4.70 tcase gearsand then armor (sliders, bumpers, axle)

You're going to have a stock stallion. I made some shackles out of 3/8" plate 4.5" eye to eye... I couldn't seem to find anyone who sold short enough shackles and I wanted to lower the front of my truck to match the 63's I installed.

4x4yota

I was gonna have my boomerang shackle drilled to 4.5" or jst buy some 1/4 or 3/8 steel and make new ones but I am running rears up front and need it to clear the body mount

how much lift you getting with your 63 chevys? would it be possible to mount them with almost no lift?

so the plan to lower it and try to make it stock failed my tie rod put a decent dent in my oil pan so I decided to just go ahead and build up rather than down but still keep it low no more than 3" of lift and 33" tires

my RUF, highsteer, and IFS rear axle/wheel spacers are going in my 4runner its already abused so figured rather use it more than trash another truck and my 81 is my pride and joy I love it to much to trash it and the 4runner is just a project play toy anyways so why not

so my headgasket problem seems to be getting worse and Im gonna be needig a new motor by summer for sure Id like to reuse my engine and just rebuild it but because this is my second head gasket on this motor not sure how good of condition the head is in and I know for fact the block needs major works since last time I was in there one of the rear head bolts threads were half way stripped in the in the block... Ive been looking into my options and so far I am really liking what LCE has to offer as far as performance and produst...what are my options for buying/building a 22R with more power... Im on a budget and cant spend to much and also cant afford any long period time down this truck is my DD and need it to get to work so Im looking at getting ether a reman long block or a built short block and ether reusing my head if it is still good or a mildly built head ether way Im looking to spend between $2-3K

also been looking into possibly a 4.3 chevy swap or buick 3.8 but cant really afford that much time down

rebuilding my spare 22R from an 85 toyota 4x4
in the process or tearing it down and sending it in to the machine shop to have it bored and cleaned up
the cylinder head was in good condition and the rockers looked good and the cam looked good
the oil pan was clean other than old oil, but no bits of plastic or metal, even the oil pick up tube was very clean and clear
the main and rod bearings looked good didnt have any excesive wear or burn marks
the head gasket seemed to be in good condition no cracks or breaks and the journals in the block were clear no blockage
was very surprised at how clean and how good of condition this motor was in almost didnt need a rebuild
the timing chain guides were in one piece minus 1 crack and the cylinder walls and crank looked almost new
but Id rather rebuild the motor while its out of the truck than have to take it out again
