Right now my truck is 22.25" to frame, all thats left to do is 54" driveshaft and shocks s far as suspension goes

SloCrawler

this should work, I see lots on pirate doing it

SloCrawler

so got drivelines done, a buddy had a longer slip yoke which exteded my rear 1.5" more, then i flexed her out on the lift. i got 5" of up travel all around, and on the lift i would be useing almost the length of my 14" bilsteins at droop. My rear tire got 42" up befor the other started to lift. now I just have to mount them damn shocks.

Got shocks mocked up, looks like the f250 mounts have to be welded on top of the frame to achieve the amount of uptravel I want. Hopefully I get a good welder up in here soon I want to do a shake down allready.

Looking good but it looks like you may need to make more room for the tire.
Dirt is for wheelin not for wearin you filthy hippie!

front shock pics. Think i need to gusset the sides of the f250 mounts? I got the fronts and planning on doing backs, and should i put spacers in between shocks or just run em?

jrock

Id add some gussets and a couple washers. Also add some steel to that cutout  And bend the brake line a little.

SloCrawler

After talking to a few peeps im going to just pull a stud on steering knuckles and drain oil, and pack full of grease without pulling apart the knuckles, seeing how this truck is a trailor queen I shouldnt have any problems. Im going to Coast Clutch and Brake today to get a few lines made for my after market resevor, then i should have everything to finish my hydro assist. Oh and MC said my 1600lb clutch should be here today. 3 weeks left and my list of things is getting much smaller

Peterbuilt84

Truck's coming along nice :smokin:  You could also use the camo method for taking off your knuckles, should be able to pack them and clean them out better that way.
