I love that flatbed... you're giving me ideas when I re-do mine someday. Strapping down stuff is okay but I'd like to have lockable and weatherproof storage. What's the advantage of running springs inboard?

Looking good!

and you are going to love the 5.29s

Picked up an IFS axle with all new bearing and seals plus creaper breather, also seeing how the RAM above was to big for my truck I traded it for 4 Bilstein 5150s.

Rocksnail

I can so see my beach house in them pics. Truck is looking good keep up the work.
Do you know what they where doing to the beach in them pics? loks like they moved alot of sand out. Or is it from the weather? i havnt been to pismo in over  a year.

That was a year ago or more right in front of the Oceano on ramp, all caused by rain and tide. The wall must of been about 4' at first.

SloCrawler

got to fab all shock mounts 1st, you got 12s or 14s in your back superyota?

superyota

14's. i ran 12's for years.  worked great.  the only reason i went to 14's was because the 12's were limiting my down travel.  wait til you get a chance to mount them up and see how they fit.  my guess would be with f150 packs you should be good with the 12's.

SloCrawler

i would hate to have to switch to 14s later and lose 2" of up travel, i was planning on mounting  the shock on the outside of my springs, and i got 7" shacles on the rear. ill have to try and cycle flex on a fork lift 1st and measure before im thinking, what should i look for and measure for when i do this? sorry still knew to this and dont want to have to do it twice.
