that clutch is good!!! thats how mine looked after i dropped it on a hill climb about 6 times...

that clutch saw numerous sets of 30's, 31's, 33's, 36'' tsl's, and a set of 39.5 iroks........ it was time for retirement obviously.....

we were in the BACK of Juniper Dunes...... Took 4 hours of none stop walking up and down sandy ass dunes before we got back to the other truck then another 25 miles into town........ no trailer either.....

yeah I got it to move after awhile and hit a hill in 3rd low, made it a little ways up and then poof smokin like a train.... bad luck....

Just got back from tucannon and it was THE weekend... Caught lotsa fish, bon fires, beer, saw some deer and turkey, and made it home in one piece  havent had that much relaxing fun in a LONG TIME!
and to top it off my girlfriend just got me Famous Daves BBQ baby back ribs...... oh man!!!! seventh heaven......

-(2) Johnny joint shackle mounts
-(6) 18mm greasable bolts
-(2) Bilstien 12'' 5150's
-(2) Bilstien 14'' 5150's
-move axle 2'' forward

(Steering Stuff)

-Move box as far forward as possible
-Drill and tap box for hyrdo-assist
-8'' travel hydraulic ram, hoses and mounting brackets
-Skys 3/4'' drop billet pitman arm
-Mount steering dampener




oh yeah, and a new 22RE sticker for the valve cover

what all are you doing to compliment the 300cc injectors? BB TB i can see... you gonna get an EFI tuner for it?

yep, just not sure what setup I'm going with for now... I will be running stock injectors until I get the management system.

Well I'm taking my injectors to clean and flow test at the college today... We picked up an 88 runner, SR5, 3.0, 5spd, COLD A/C!! Post pics later!

Well the injectors were all within 2 cc's of each other and passed the leak test!! My old instructor hooked me up with new grommets, o-rings, and screens as well after I got done with the ultra sonic cleanse! Gonna try and get the intake and everything else cleaned up and painted so when I get the head that badboy is going back together!

Oh, and heres a sneak peak of the 88 runner....

wow the 88 is So are you gonna tell us a price? 1500 for mine on 33s and I am at 128 or 129K. Whats the mileage on that one? Almost looks like it came off a showroom floor!!!!

............ just a grand!  and thats SR5, COLD A/C, cruise, power everything, new clutch master cylinder, new muffler and exhaust piping, brand new warn hubs (gonna swap my aisin's on) and to top it off; an ashtray full of change..... Its got 166xxx on it and I didnt even test drive the damn thing when I bought it It drives like it came off the showroom floor!! I'll have to get some pics of the interior.

My girlfriend wants me to do the following to it:
-New marlin clutch
-pull the engine and do all the gaskets including the head gaskets
-timing belt and water pump
-4'' lift and 33'' tires
-ultrasonic clean and flow test the injectors

good buy good buy man   . heck of a deal for a grand.   but why still the original plugs and wires.  Unless it was dealership maintained which could have been. or stop by your closest yota dealership with the vin. It should tell you service history and if head gaskets have been changed and how long ago. If they havent been stealership ship might still do it for free under a recall according to some ppl on yotatech.

no doubt!!! It looks like they havent been done, its leakin alittle oil and nothing is clean on the engines lower end....

No doubt! I'd like to find another one for myself... getn the 88 fixed up for the gf so she has a reliable dd and still be rollin in style! she's way easy on her rigs too so she wont rod the piss out of that poor lil 3.slow....   

Stay tuned for updates on the 85 and 92. I'm almost done rebuilding my bosses 85 subbby and when thats out of my bay I am pulling the cab offf ofthe 92 and welding the new frame off of another 85 so i can roll it out of the shop, trailer my runner in there and go through all the wire harness, move my steering box and finish up some welding and what not..... I am also going to strip the engine bay and repaint it before the fresh build goes in.... Oh and I also ordered up a shiny new 22RE sticker for the valve cover and 4 triple drilled flanges before they werent on sale
