Yeah, no more rubbing!  :beerchug: Had another accident.... Why couldn't it have been the other side. It was already broke  ??? .

Few pictures. Gotta love heavy duty driveshafts
I even let my buddy drive  :beerchug:.

Almost rolled  :sheerterror: . Too bad my photographer was like 10 seconds late on the picture and only got me getting out of it.  . My driver rear tire was about 2ft more to the left in the picture.

Duffil

it may have felt like it, but you had a ways to go IMO. I've puckered my :moon: once or twice like that, but I'd say you were OK.

jrock

In the picture I'm totally fine. It was the moment just before when I was 2 more feet up that mound that my passenger side almost completely unloaded. I puckered ;)

Duffil

yeah I understood that. I was gauging my statement offof the terrain we can see, the fact that we have the same truck and a little bit of ethuggery. now STFUPLZ. :gap:

Question, I've never used a flare tool so I'd like to ask if it is possible to flare here? Or is the space too small?

First hangup of the T100 booster and master swap. The top universal hits the booster. Other than that it works wonderfully. Very very firm petal.

Before I hit it with the hammer I will be trying to move the booster as much as I can. I really don't want to take it all out again :( .

More pictures.

Oh, I used a crappy Power Built flaring tool form Kragen. It worked, nothing more. If I could have I would have bought a slightly better tool. :twocents:

Used this kit,

but cut off the metric fittings and put the standards on for the valve. I still need to cap the T fitting and remove the LPSV.

Finished. So I set the rear brakes to BARELY lock up with my truck empty and low on fuel. Works great.   Fixed the booster problem by wedging a Wonder Bar in and then loosened all the bolts on the steering column and booster from inside the cab. It wasn't enough so then I used the bar against the universal to push up on the booster and bent it a bit. There is maybe a 1/16" clearance but it works.  :_oops:

Went through a large bottle of brake fluid but now all my stuff is clean  .

Replaced a leaky clutch MC while I was in there.

 :offtopic: *Rant ON!*  :soapbox:
So, I need tires, so I set aside time to drive 2hrs to go pick up a set for a fair price. Well the day before I get an email, not even a call, saying they gave the tires to someone else, even though we agreed I could buy them on Monday. During his time I had setup another buy, not far from the tires, for some axles. Well, the same day, Monday, the seller tells me he gave them away.  :censored:

I want to call BS! If someone gives you a better price at least give the 1st one in line a chance to counter offer. You waist a sh*t load of peoples time with this crap!

I am guilty of doing this too, ONCE, which is why I haven't ripped anyone a new one yet but come-on!

What! Damn. This isn't the first time, actually the 3rd or 4th. It was just weird that 2 separate people did it at the same time.

jrock

Back on topic, the brakes have one flaw. If the engine stalls on a hill it is going to take a hell of a lot of effort to stop it with the over-sized master cylinder.

PS. My new'er clutch MC leaks more than the old one.

Question for you all, how much neutral arch should the stock rear main leaf have in an 85? Mine is at 7". I'm curious cuz the RUF packs on this board look to flex out way better than that. I have beat the crap out of my rear leafs so I'm wondering if their toast.  :help:

jrock

:bananabeer: To Mr. Smith in Clovis, thank you for the parts. Strange and unexpected but thanks.  :spin:
