That blade stuff is pretty ghetto Glen.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

i will be  burning it in  its  almost part of the floor now,  you cant see it  but theres a  matching blade on the underside of the floor  and  3  bolts  thru them,  then welded  in  as well,  they aint movin  :nope:

goin back in


got the  pillars  welded up,  just need to grind them smooth  fill the small holes  with  JBweld  or bondo  and  grind smooth again,  sand  and primer




and  what are these little  relay thingies for??   they  are  near  the  emergency brake  :dunno:

so that's what it looks like back there.  :think: I've got to get my heat and defroster working so I can feel a bit safer with winter wheeling. I'm not chancing frostbite or a crash if I don't have to.

they might be headlight relays  but  the turn signal flasher  is  on the pass side and its HUGE

yes that's a hole on top and what you can see around the cig lighter and a/c controls is all that's hanging on. :eek:

Bigmike   confirmed,  hes  80%  that they are headlight relays  :thumbs:



well i did a few things,  tightened  down the body bolts,  i can  spray paint  the underside,  too much dang trouble to remove the body again



i'm using the 80 model SR5  tilt steering  :eyebrow:

first thing today was to mount the a/c  unit,  the old gasket was gone  so i had Mom help me  and i rolled a old sock  and  taped it  to the  unit,  i was  worried it wouldnt work but  it did  :woohoo:
