well it didnt take too long to get everything fitted together


i wish i had  Josh's  cutting skills    now i gotta fix a couple holes

yes  thats a lawn mower blade,  i used  2 of them  sandwiching the  sheet metal between them  then welded them together

you know me  BEEF

um  yes  i  put the primer on with a brush,  i want longevity,  pretty  comes second,  when i can i'll try and pick up a  small  sprayer

  yea  i found  my welding skill need some polishing,  i turned the welder down to 60 amps,  it does  great  on the thicker stuff,   the thin parts  im going to sandwich  with  some sheet metal  with JB weld  in between

well  i didnt JBweld  anything,  i decided  to use a filler rod while  welding and it turned out GREAT,  finished  all the passenger side
pics  tomorrow,  yea  i forgot the camera 

oh  and  i  sprayed  the firewall and inner fenders  blue  and installed the wireing harness

tomorrow  brakes and clutch,  and finish filler welding the drivers side,

But lawnmower blades? Are you adding much structural support by putting them in there the way you have them? If they arent welded in solid and you were to have a breck again, you could end up with a new reason for a sore but.  With the amount of welds you have there you might be good to go for the assembly then drive it to somewhere and have it welded in a little better, then finish it all with some seam sealer.

well these  blades  are  short,  they have  3 holes in them  are like 1/4 inch thick,  and i used  grade 5  bolts,  this forces  the  2  pieces of cab  to  line  up together,  i'll get pics tomorrow  of the welding i did today,   its  not coming apart,   remember how i build bumpers??   thats  the theory  im using here

The real test will be trying to fit doors onto it.  If the doors fit well then that is a fantastic job of measuring!

then i moved on to  getting ready  to install the heat/air boxes  and decided i better clean them

now  befor the wreck my  heater  and defrost barely worked   NOW  i know why
