Back to the dovetail...

How did you keep the sides behind the B pillar from creasing real bad?

I guess I'm asking for a ton of pics at many angles to see how you did it

Would you mind doing that, please?

All i did was cut the areas in the pics and rachet strap the body over into place where i wanted it. Then i modified the body mounts and welded them back on the frame and bolted the body down.  It didnt crease and it turned out pretty good.  idk what else i can tell you.  It literally only took me about 3 hours to do it.

Ya the motor what attracted me the bodies pretty well cut up. Are you going to close your rear wheels wells in the back above the tires like before or do you have to keep them opened up so the tires dont rub? Its looking dam good man.

I'm going to put in another piece of sheetmetal to close up the fenderwells.  I want to try and minimize the amount of crap flying off the tires back there, even though most of the tire sticks out past the fender anyways!

So I have had a really busy week at work.  i havnt really worked on the 4runner all week.  I did finally figure out how to take apart the hydraulic ram tonight.  I have to get the spacer out of it so i can use the full 8" throw of the ram.  I also got my extended brake lines today, and i got the fuel pump installed in the tank.  by the end of the weekend i am hoping to have the brakes all hooked up and blead, fuel system all hooked up, and the hydro ram all adjusted and ready to get hoses made!
