Looked through your thread again, can't find what leafs you've got in the front.. are they ruf?

Yes, 7 pack mix. I'd like to replace them with sky's crawler springs, but for now they work!

Update:

It's been a long time coming, I initially started collecting parts for this upgrade in 2011. I've been running stock duals with Marlins 21 spline MC07XD-R10 since 2011, which has worked great but I've really been wanting some lower gears since stepping up to 38s-40s. Well, today I received the last piece of the puzzle for my ultimate duals. :beerchug:

Marlin 23 spline 4.70:1 Competition Chromoly Gear Kit
Marlin 30-Spline Chromoly Rear Output Shaft
Marlin 30-Spline Chromoly Front Output Shaft
Marlin 23 spline Chromoly Coupler

I had to unwrap all my dusty boxes i've been collecting and lay out everything before it gets installed  :smokin:
I'm going pretty BEEF with all my gearing with the anticipation of installing my 5vzfe engine in the future.

There is no way around the situation, the truck is under powered with the 22re, 5.29s, and 40s. But does it really bother me? Not as much as you'd think.
In Oregon speed limits don't go above 55-60mph and so I never have a problem keeping up with traffic. I don't use 5th gear very often, unless i'm on a  flat or downhill. The truck likes to cruise at 70mph in 4th gear on long out of state drives.

I'm not in a big hurry to install the 5zvfe, I sometimes debate keeping the 22re for simplicity sake, and saving $$. My long drive down to Rubicon usually motivates me to do an engine swap, as well I'd also like to drive the truck to Moab and back too with a bit more power in the future.

Well I decided to reload the pictures on this page... luckily it was only 3 pictures ha.

But I have some updates, I finished installing all gears into my spare transfer case, taking my crawl box apart and installing a 23 spline coupler and reinstalling everything back underneath my truck in preparation for this years MCR. Took her out for a test run, everything is working great! This year i'll be taking my father, we're both pretty excited. See you guys there!

I posted these on the MCR16 picture thread but thought I should post them here too. The trip was very successful, ran the truck pretty hard and she held up great. I let my dad drive pretty lengthy sections of the trail for the first time and he was loving it! I have more pictures I'll eventually get to editing and posting
