drove up to washington last weekend to play in some snow off highway 57 and managed to curb a log driving around 20mph and this happened  :headscratch: i was very surprised, i've been very impressed with my km2s before this. i already ordered two new tires coming from California and Arizona and will also ordered another raceline wheel for a full size wheel/tire combo.
bolting my blingbling 37" spare on

You should come over to my neck of the woods sometimes for some creek crawling. Or I'll head over there to cruise some fun road and check out your bimmer.

how are you liking those K2's?  my dad got a set of 35's for free and put them on his crawler.  He hates them!  I'm not impressed with them either.  Seems like they have no lateral traction. My dads rig just slides off the sides of rocks all the time.  He used to have a set of worn out 34" trxus swampers and they worked waaay better

Traction wise i've actually been really happy with the km2, I haven't experienced any lateral traction issues on rocks. I've heard really good things about the trxus that they hook up better than iroks in some cases. I believe they have more sipping than any other mud tire out

I know when I had km2s they worked awesome in every situation, except ice and packed snow. In those conditions they were downright scary, everything else awesome. Never had any problems in rocks, even wet rocks.

greenjacob

they would probly work alot better siped.  daniresch, the trxus tires do have alot of siping, thats probly why they work so well.  But they do also seem to chunk out easier which is probly due to the siping also.  oh well cant have all the pros I guess!
