thanks westren!

I have some updates I swapped in a new W56 transmission because 1st gear would always pop out from when I first put it in and then I blew 3rd gear. The new transmission seems to be in really good condition so hopefully this one will last for awhile.

I also lowered the rear by about an inch by taking out the overload on the 63s.
Then took the truck to Revenge Off-Road and had Derek build me this awesome rear bumper

Question for ya.. In the first few pics of ur build I seen u have that metal bar that runs from the axle to the proportioning valve on the frame. it's suppose to be a load sensing valve. did you just cut it off?

It wasn't cut off, but I did remove it from the valve.

Most people just disconnect it from the axle and wire it up out of the way.  The lazy method works!!

Took a some time to save up but this did recently show up; high pinion, 5.29, ARB:

This is a pictures I took of the truck right before I tore it apart ~3 months ago, the Front axle is being moved forward 1.5inches and lowered 1inch. the rear will stay the same height. I can't wait to have it back on the road! :driving:

Waterwerks is June 30th, I think I'll end up just going to Leavenworth.

Sad to hear you sold the BMW, now you need to lower that Audi!

daniresch

went out to browns over the weekend so i got to test out the high pinion arb front, stretched axle, and slightly lowered truck.
a small amount of front bumper and fender trimmage will come to clear the tires, no more rubbing on the inside wheel well which i was trying to accomplish

I like the rear bumper! didn't notice it until these recent pics. looks like he uses a pretty large radius die for that tubing. Gives it more of a nice "swooshy" look, haha, if that makes sense!
