yeah there has been a huge change thats for sure!  the guy i bought it from didnt really believe me when i told him that i was going to link it with 80 series axles and put it on 40's..... well here it is! haha     thanks dude!

fuel, brakes, and electrical are all hooked up!  I need to get all the hydraulic steering hoses made and installed, then i gotta do exhaust too.  once thats done i can take it for a spin!

im gonna try to get as much video as i can this summer.  lighting up the tires on pavement isnt going to happen.  40 inch tires and 4:10 gears isnt a good combo.  i can try to light em up in 4-lo in the rocks

oh cool, didnt know he got a marlin account!   i probly wont be going out at all, the truck may be kinda ready,but its gonna be wet and sloppy everywhere and most of my stuff is un-painted!

oh you need to so burn rubber man! ha ha 5.71's dude all day long burnies!! ha ha ya what!! this is gonna be a trailered rig now so it will not see much more pavement in its day really!! Maybe a mobb to the store here and there! But it has full hydro steer now which im sure you all know! All i am saying is this is no DD its a bad ass krawling machine! Skinny peddle to the floor rock bashin tree bounce n cliff hoppin wheelie pop n wedge wedge n ledges at farmerdaleaton an last but not least chick gettin heart breakin sick ass ride and ready to tear the sun out of summer and add a N to the word funn!! ha ha

here are a few pics of the work in the rear.  got the fuel pump put it, made some sick gusetts for the shock hoops, also got the axle truss all done.  i also moved the tab on the tie rod for the rod end closer to the end of the tie rod so it wont be so likely to bend.  I also mad the tab bigger so it displaces the pressure better.  and i built a battery tray and clamp. also put in a gusett on the panhard bar bracket

It is not offset enough to cause issues, and his gas tank is already up out of the way so the driveshaft won't contact it.

Lookin good man, you still have to fill in the inside wheel wells in back right? Just got my 4runner back yesterday had gears put in it and locker in the rear, new clutch and flywheel. Cant wait to test out the locker.

Did you upgrade your knuckle studs I'm talking the one where bearing and crossover bolts up reason my friend sheared 2 of his off and I'm lookin for stronger ones any info would be great thanks

yeah i am going to do a partial wheel well.  i need to trim the fenders even higher so i will basically be building new tubs again

i am still using stock right now.  ARP makes upgraded studs

Well i took it for a drive tonight!!  the orbital valve was leaking over the weekend so i took it out and replaced some o-rings, it seems to be working good now.  Also the engine wasnt running so good right in the rpm range when the turbo normally spools up.  It would just cut out and run like crap.... come to find out my air filter was too small!  i installed the bigger old one and it runs great!  here are some pics of it out of the garage.  didnt have any time to do some flex pics somewhere, plus i really need to do more trimming before i can flex alot.
