I'm using a Hobart Handler 187, its the 220V model.  I got a sweet deal on it, its only a year old and i got the welder with a cart for 400 bucks.  It works excellent for everything I ever need to do.

Right on man, I have close to the same setup in red paint, sp175t. After using my buddies miller 212 ive been lookin on cl for a 212, 251 or 252.

yeah its a great setup for me.  The only time i have used a lincoln is when i was at Wyotech.  They seem like great machines.  Everything I have used since then has been a Miller product.  I have never had a problem with any Miller stuff.  Miller must be a bit cheaper than Lincoln, cuz everyone around here uses Miller.

Well I got enough done to get the rig back on the road and test a few things out.  It was really nice out yesterday so I drove it to work. I took some pics when I got home.  When I had the front end apart to do the front member, I re-drilled the front leaf spring eye bolt holes up about 1.5" higher in the hanger.  That resulted in lowering the front of the truck some more which is great.  I took it out and found a rock to flex it on and it looks like everything clears just fine up front.  I need to trim a bit more out of the front fenders and I will need to tub the firewall just a bit.  My dad came over and got started trimming another two inches out of the rear fenders.  I will have to build new fenderwells for the rear.  I also cut and shortened my fuel tank 5" so it would fit in the rear of the rig, right above the rear axle.  I cut a hole in the floor so the tank could push up through a bit, so I will have to box that shut with some sheetmetal.  i also had to do alot of work to the front to get the radiator and fan to fit.  i had to cut almost all of the innerstructure out and I had to get rid of the stock hood latch, so I am rockin hood pins now!  I am really lovin the way it looks without the body lift!

thanks man!  my frame sits at 26.5 with 25lbs in the tires.  As far as up travel goes, it kinda depends on where you measure it.  I only have about 2.5" until my bump stops hit the pads and start to squish.  That doesnt seem like much, but out at the edge of the tire its traveling alot more.  in those flex pics my front end is doing most of the flexing because I dont have any weight in the back right now. So it flexes pretty well.  I will check out your build man

im interested to see your tranny tunnel... i cut mine up and did a ghetto quick job on it for the summer but next winter i want to redo it to be boxy... i want to use some 1/2" square tubing then do flat sheet metal to it...

runner looks sick, are you going to cut any more out of the front fenders looks like it will need it.   I think you should cut them out round like you cut the back it will look good.  One more thing I don't know how hard you drive but the front axle is going to need some beef gusset's or you will bend it.

yeah i'm interested to see how it will come out too! ha ha   I dont have a whole lot of patients with sheetmetal so hopefully i dont get too pissed.  I'm hoping to work on it a bit this weekend.

thanks bro!  your's has given me some good inspiration!  Yeah I do need to cut the front fenders up a bit more. I am planning on giving them a nice curved look also.  I love the look of your front end with those fiberglass fenders.  I did put a tubular gusset on the top of the front axle, I might sheet it in and put some speed holes in it.  The axle balls are already gusseted too so I think I will be ok.  I wheel hard, but conservitively, lol.  I have always tried to wheel pretty carefully because I broke so many damn front axles, I'm hoping I can hammer on it a bit harder now with the Longs.

Right now I dont have the rear body mounts on. I did save the steel mount that was welded on the stock framerail though.  I am planning on welding that back onto the frame and drilling a new hole through the back of the body so i can put the mount in.

Nice runner brah! I read this thread from start to finish in the last couple days.  I was wondering on your T100 brake booster mod if you also used the MC from it. There's a T100 here in a junkyard near me so I might pick that up. Was it a night and day difference? So it was as easy as just bolting it back up? Thanks in advance!

thanks dude!  I did not use the MC from it.  I used a 1" bore MC from marlin.  idk for sure if the T-100 mc will work or not.  As far as the booster goes, it was a direct fit, no mods needed.  And yes it was a night and day difference.  I would highly recommend puting one on, you will love it
