are those the 2nd gen s10 blazer bumpstops?

I have some that look just like that but black, and they sit in one of those cups. They're a little bit taller too.
After reading a lot of people complain that the poly bumps are too hard(and kinda spendy), I found a tech thread on pirate for cheap bumpstops and someone mentioned the blazer bumps were removeable, and you could cut them down if you needed. So after a quick trip to the junkyard and $8 later (vs $40+ for poly bumps all around) I had some nice soft bump stops that are a dime a dozen and just about as cheap. A lot easier on the wallet when you tear one of these up insted of the polyurethane. Only thing is I still gotta put em on.

Did some wheelin on saturday, had a blast!  we got more video footage but alot of them were kinda boring without some editing, so i just uploaded a couple short ones.  I hammered down pretty hard in snow that was at least 30" deep in places and didnt break anything yet

we got boned for snow this year. the valley saw a total of like 17in of snow... that was in like the beginning of december and it melted fairly quick.

that sucks, yeah we have gotten up to five feet way up in the hills!  most of the places we wheel are covered in a couple feet right now.

yeah its a blast out there!  yeah you dont really have to worry about hitting anything, unless you are Tim and you slam into a little washed out hole!    you should have seen him hit that hole and get about a foot and a half of air time under his front tires

idk when the next wheelin trip will be man.  I've decided i"m going to take the two inch body lift off the runner.  That should be a pretty good project in itself!  I'm gonna have to cut out the floor for the drivetrain, so if im going to do that, i might as well push the cases up even higher and try for a flat belly!  But idk if i have enough room to do that because the bellhousing might hit the firewall.   idk man I will see what happens when i try to drop the body down i guess.  If i can get the overall height of the truck to sit down another two inches i would be really happy.   Then i need to bob and dove it, relocate the gas tank, modify the top, figure out how to mount my spare (that sweet brand new 40x13.50x17 MTR i got for 100 bucks)  And Tim needs help setting up his dual cases and modifying his t-case crossmember. You still have a crap ton of work to do on the runner, dude its gonna be july before we can all go wheelin together again    Then maybe it will finally be warm enough to do some    and night

I started removing everything from the interior tonight so i can get the body lift removed this weekend.  The previous owner told me it's not possible to remove it because of the engine swap and a few other things, but i'm going to do it anyways! Getting the overall height of the rig down another two inches will be great.  I want this rig to sit as low as possible while maintaining a good amount of ground clearance.  I have looked over things and so far this is what i know i will have to do......  cut off rock sliders, cut a pretty large hole in the floor and redo the sheetmetal to clear the drivetrain, cut off the rear shock hoop that was installed, reposition radiator and i'm sure there is a few other little things to do.  I am hoping to get most of it done this weekend.

After i get the BL removed the next big plans are to bob and possibly dove the rear, move gas tank to rear (I am going to cut a hole in the rear floor area and mount the tank in the best location possible, then re-sheetmetal around it so the tank is still outside of the vehicle)  Then its onto the partial exo to rear interior cage.

thats going to be super low whats your frame hieght again??? Mine is at 24 on 39.5s aired up... I am building a first gen for my buddy right now he's sitting at like 26 with 40" mtrs full pressure.

I am also building a first gen for myself it sits about 26 id say with the mtrs on it and has a 2 inch bl so im going to take that off and get it slammed...

As far as the tunnel and t cases..If I were you I would cut that BL down to a .5" and rock it jst for that reason. The truck on tons I build is completely flat bellied iwth a 1" BL my third gen is about a half inch or less from being completely flat bellied because I don't have a BL and its up into the firewall pretty good. If you want the flat belly enough I would do it if not your going to be extremely close but not quite there without.

i'm trying to get it as low as i can!  NITE KRAWLERS stopped by for a couple hours tonight and we removed the gas tank, exhaust, all the body bolts, interior is all stripped out now (except for dash and door panels)  We made alot of progress tonight!

I think i'm sittin at 26 to the frame on full pressure 40 MTR's.  I want to completely remove the body lift, I just want to know that it isnt there any more!  Once i get the body lift completely out tomorrow, i will probly un-bolt the cases from the x-member and see if i can push it up any farther before i have major firewall issues.  I want to get that belly all flat as possible!  I dont care how much floor i have to cut out, hell i might even get crazy and cut out some of the firewall if i have to!

Got quite a bit accomplished yesterday.   I removed the body lift completely and bolted the body back down.  I had to cut alot out of the floor to make room for the drivetrain.  As it sits now the bellhousing is about a 1/4" away from hitting the tranny tunnel/firewall area, and i cant quite close my hood all the way.  I did not push the drivetrain up any higher than where i had it before, I will have to do alot more extensive modifications to try and get a flat belly so i'm gonna leave it how it is now.  I am going to build my own motor mounts using some poly bushings so they are alot stronger than stock. When i build those i am going to lower the engine an inch from where it is now so that it wil clear the hood and give a comfortable space between the bellhousing and tranny tunnel.  All in all setting the body down two inches really wasnt too bad, It looks WAY better and doesnt feel nearly as tall!   NITE KRAWLERS and I also started the bed bob last night. We got it all marked and cut, only took us about an hour.  I am going back out there in a few minutes to start sanding off the paint around the area where the bed will be welded back on.  Enjoy some pics! the second and third pics are before and after removing the BL
