Exhaust done, tires rebalanced... got all the steel I need to make the rear bumper... STILL waiting on these damn rock lights. So much for 2 day shipping?!

Tomorrow if all works out i'll have the rear bumper done.. if the rock lights show up i'll start mounting those and running wire...

Other then that i'm pretty much ready to go... ah I still might have a chance to herculine the cab.

oooor... cut some half doors.,.. we'll see how motivated I get.

 Not feeling it this week, started working on my bumper today.. totally sh*t canned the idea.. didn't like the way it was looking so i'm going to wait until after MCR and do something more permanent.

I might get to the rock lights tomorrow... might not.. we'll see..

I'm packed and ready to go with the exception of perishable items.

Know how ya feel on not feeling it.

My truck is not looking great for the MCR.  It DID start today for the first time in 2 years!!  found out i have a smashed throttle cable and apparently they are no longer in production.  Little sticky to try and wheel with, it idles perfect though

we shall see, i might try to come in on Sat am., got a buddy coming up to help out tonight and see how we do

have a blast and take lotsa pics

Annnnd we have rock lights... first time soldering and using shrink tube.. doing it legit... they must make different kinds of solder because some of it went together well and the solder melted around the wire... some of the wire the solder repelled like dumping water on a oil slick.. it was weird.. i'd start melting it on and it would literally bubble up and fall off... even working it around the wire was impossible...  meh... i'll figure it out..

Off to bed, MCR tomorrow!!!

Got home a few hours ago, it was great seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones. I don't think i've ever had that much damage on one trip... i don't think there's a single piece of strait sheet metal on it anymore.. I laid it on the passenger door on the way out a couple times... now the door only opens from the inside... Passenger side is totally hammered... crushed the fiberglass top and busted out almost all the windows.. front window's barely hanging in on the bottom... hood barely opens after a BFH to the passenger fender...

It all started w/ flopping it on Soup Bowl. I'll post pic's and vid's later. I know Gabes got some good video footage....reguardless of hammering the cab we had a BLAST!  One of the best MCR's i've been too.

Thanks to the Marlin crew for making an awesome event as usual. 

Oh btw I WAS ONE NUMBER OFF FOR THE GRAND PRIZE!!! They called 505250 and I was 505251.  Gabe won sky's gusset and diff cover which he gave to me (what an awesome guy!)  we're gonna work out a deal for my 4" Marlin springs.

Time to hit the bed, i'm beat!

Oh yea... and my u bolts came loose on the driver side and i sheered the center pin that holds all the leaves together.. shoved the axle back about 5".. had to get it off the trail and pull the spring off... wasn't bad.. getting the axle back in place was kind of a pita... first time using the winch and it was to get my axle lined back up again.

Good stuff dude. I have a few pics for you. I have massive body damage and I flopped in the bowl on my second try. MAde it up first try no problem then I decided I would play some more lol Luckly I have no glass  Had to pull all my plugs though and blow the oil out of the cylinders. I swear I never beat my rig this hard on Fordyce I don't know what happened.

Funny thing is I had just told Jeff that he needed to add Leaf spring centering pins to his box of spare bolts. I know I am going to add them to mine.
