Bush has made a LOT of mistakes... he is far too liberal for my tastes especially when it comes to spending...  But lest you forget that the country wasn't so bad off until late 2006...  Since then oil prices went through the roof, the dem housing bubble popped at the hands of the dems and a handful of idiotic greedy republicans being led by Frank, Dodd and Schumer....  



I can see nothing but bad coming out of a electorate ran by one party.  When it's the republicans they spend like crackheads as seen back in the early 2000's.  Now that it'll be ran by a pure liberal trifecta I fear for my country for the first time in my life.

Yahoo fact sheet... that's cute.  The price of oil has fallen because is it traded in the US dollar exclusively.  Considering that the dollar is currently worth crap and going down mixed with the fact that people are driving far, far less due to the high cost that fuel was at for so long and you know why oil is cheap again.

Your are correct that Frank, Dodd and Schumer were responsible for the mortgage crisis but they are not Republicans, they are Democrats.  You can add Attorney General Janet Reno and The Clinton Administration to the list too.  Read my reply #193 in this post.

TIMS89CRAWLER, you are quick to blame the Bush Administration for our poor economy, as did millions of uninformed Americans, which is what led to last nights election results.   If you educate yourself you will find that the Liberal democrats are to blame for both of the big contributers to the poor economy.   I explained in reply #193 what caused the mortgage crisis.  If you don't believe me look up the info yourself.  Transcripts of congressional sessions are available online.  It lists George Bush going before Congress 18 times with concerns about the economy but the Democratically controlled congress did nothing and in fact criticized the president for having political motivations when he did it because the heads of all Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are politically tied Democrats.

The oil situation is tied to the War in Iraq, which George Bush did initiate.  However, the Democratically controlled congress have refused to allow oil exploration on our own soil for the last 27 years.   Only one time in that 27 years has Congress been controlled by Republicans.  If we didn't have to get oil from the volatile middle east and our other enemies we would have never gone to war in Iraq in the first place.  If we were drilling our own oil all of the money from the cost per barrel would have been put back into the US economy when it was so high over the past year, not our enemies economy.

When you spew out the whole "George Bush ruined our economy" bs it makes you sound like one of the lemmings who listens to the liberal media instead of finding out for yourself.  The only thing George Bush could have done better is informing the general public what the Democrats have caused.
