Why is it that the dam Democrats always want to make everyone equal. If we had that kind of society, we would be a Communist Nation.

Be side's, screw that, some people are just more successful than other. The rest of us need to just get over it.

And if we were to make everyone equal, why do they insits on bringing everyone down to the lowest commen denominator rather than bringing everyone up to the same level.

(oh some one made a good business decision, oh let's tax the living

out of them, take the money for government were 9 10th of every dollar will just be lost to bureaucracy and then tell everyone else that we did it help the people that just to stupid to help them selves)

not necessarily true, there is the far right for everything. I support the majority of the Sierra Club stuff too - but am for public land for public use. Never for non-use but am ok for planned use.

You can't have it all, unfortunately. I would not call the guy a communist though, just because he wants to help the community..

Dude, they both suck. Given the choice I want neither but that isn't an option so I pick the lesser of two evils IMHO..

I don't think he wants everyone equal, neither do I. It is not what our country is founded on (capitalist ideals). You have to fight for what you want, but you should have the right to fight for it.

FYI if the Sierra Club had it their way, the only way to commune with nature would be to walk there. They many years ago had a 4x4 club within their club. They were banned and disbanded, they don't want any intrusion into the forests, deserts or any "wild" areas, and that is not a joke it's fact.

I seriously doubt Obama will win, I will be surprised if he does. That is the realist - but he will get my vote. I also don't think he is trying to redistribute wealth or make everyone the same etc..

As for the Sierra Club, yes some feel that way but not all. You can look at the other extreme and I don't think everywhere should be wheeled but some do. There are extremists on all sides - I take the middle road :p

I hope to god every night that this will not happen. I have to say, he is courting the "minority" vote very heavily. Even if he doesn't win, it's going to be turned into a freaking travesty...injustice and inequality and all that crap.

The only way a president will destroy a country is if he causes some other country to nuke us, now which one is more likely to do that? This isn't a monarchy, regardless of who wins it won't turn us into a different country..

True, if they are qualified for the postion.

But taxing the middle class to give to the poor is not the answer. Im not saying that there is an answer, but taxing me and giving to the people who decided that they would rather live off the system is certainly not it. No offense but I think you're dreaming if you really believe that every person in America should have the exact same fighting chance to get to the top as the next guy. Do you really believe that everyone was created equal. It just not true, some are gifted athletes, some are scientists and some are just really lazy.
