well its on there! was a difficult weld, due to location but pretty sure its not going anywhere. all it needs now is pain and a test bounce off a few rocks!

Well yea. And Ive been pretty good at that so far! This is just extra insurance, I think I'm gonna slap the other half on the rear, might as well because I already have it! :yupyup:

I used 8mm bolts with the threaded part cut off so only the shoulder of the bolt contacts the bushings. I drilled a hole in them for the quick pin (easier than you might think to do). The 8mm bolts fit better than the 5/16 stuff (tighter) and the hex of the bolt will allow you to rotate the bolt with a wrench to position the hole for the quick pin.  :yesnod:

And it's even cheaper yet!  :gap:

interesting, thats the thing people are saying is the big problem, sagging doors, mine sag already soooo....... im gonna need a trip to the hardware store, haha

I've had the bolts in mine for over 4 years now and no sagging whatsoever....not even from the doors!  :disturbed: :gap:

so im looking for an 8mm bolt thats about 2 1/2" long....... should it be hard to find something like that? being metric and all?

Actually the unthreaded part of the bolt needs to 2.5" long.

That's why I said "withe threaded part cut off...only the shoulder contacts the BUSHINGS..."

only place i know locally that sells metric bolts is napa, i dunno if they will have anything that long......

i keep forgetting we have a lowes now! ill try them. osh doesnt have any metric stuff, or atleast they didnt. hardware store hoping time!
