Me either, but read the Pirate FAQ sometime and you will learn LOTS of little things that can be very useful. I believe that is where I learened about those doors.
i  remember reading somewhere that they WERE interchangeable. :dunno:

2nd gen truck/first gen runner are interchangable, 3rd gen truck/2nd gen runner not so much. I don't know about any other gens of runner though. I will probably never own a runner newer than an 89, so I am not too worried about it.

only the passenger door? How so?

the 4runner has TWO door handles on the inside. one for the front passenger... and one for the back passengers.
i cant remember if the driver is the same.

hmm... I have never seen the 4runner door before, but it will still swap onto a truck just fine, unlike 2nd gen runners and 3rd gen trucks.

Anything can be made to be water proof. Theres a kid at my college who rolled a 2nd gen 4runner and turned it into a convertable. It looks pretty sweet.

When I see it I will get some, just for a mental treat, imagine cutting the top off from behind the rear doors back then replacing it with a canvas top that comes down to the tailgate at about a 45* angle

call the people that come to your house and install the windshield... when they show up just tell them to show you where to hit to make it fit.

Here are some inspirational pictures

Fordyce, rolled on its lid, about an hour of trail fixin, and back to wheeling. He has a windshield back in and as far as I know he has fixed his door frame and gotten new doors too. If he can do it on the trail (this was his second time fixing the cab on the trail) you can do it!!

Haha yeah and he did that drunk with nothing but a high lift, a hammer, and a chisel. He has done it a few times though so he has some experience now :gap:
