My old junk that I rattle canned some stripes on.

Got bored and redid the stripes.

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

Are you asking about the custom cab? If you are the answer is no. It was my DD.This was the end result

a custom cab on 40's would be titties. thats actually the first cc I've seen on Marlin.
22RE .30 over, mild cam, K&N, LCE header, 2.25'' pipe, high flow cat, Magnaflow.
Marlin 1200LB clutch

no substitute for 4wheel drive.

Tice

From my first 1980!! Wish I still had it!! :( Atleast the guy that owns it now wheels it (unlike the guy I sold it to)

What was kinda cool is the guy that owns it now brought it to the shop I work at for a new radiator, the tech that was working on it use to service it when the original owner had it.
I don't need a winch, I wheel a TOYOTA!!!!!!!

the fourth 83 sr5 i've owned, kinda rugged... picked it up for $800, lifted it 5" and stuffed 36's with stock gears and very greasy tired old 20r.. still sportin half of the factory stripes though!  :willynilly: just look at this piss it took on the concrete. Called it the carrot

I got 6 kids, so with the 60/40 in the front and the bench seat in the back. It was good for my DD. The truck was also TURBO. Was good running in the Hawaiian sands hearing the blo-off valve spooling. Got the after market goodies from LC

ya i was gonna rattle can it and order the replacement stripes for it because they ARE also my favorite.. then i sold it and bought my 5th 83' Shortbed with 4'' lift, 5.29's, crossover steering with tie rods i can lift the truck up on, and a prerunner looking rollbar in the bed with the spare tire holder. Sweet little truck, just trying to finish my shortblock 20r to drop in!
