I drove one of those for my driver's test at the DMV when I turned 16.  Gutless, but easy to drive.  I wonder how easy it would be to put a 4age in one since they already have a 4ac in them?  I know they do great in the snow...

o those things ! they are 31 10.5 that thing is bone stock it has factory side shifter 4 speed & factory 437 gears  he has since put some bfg 33 12.5 15 on that thing still when every where with A/T tires

i got a question about the 4444 on the side of this 79 is that common or rare because i know whare i can find a second gen x cab SA  with the same 4444 stripeing on it will get pixs  and i have never seen another one like that one or this one ever on another yota but what is the deal what the it. does it just mean 4x4 i would think so !?

I think this 1983 Toyota 4x4 is the rarest first gen toy ever made. It's the Mojave edition that was shipped to Canada. Only 500 made and came with a Mojave limited edition dash plaque, numbered 1-500.
The Mojave edition had two tone seats, brown with the gold decal kit, gold colour roll-bar and rear bumper.
