Just got my rears up front together still need some   shackles to get the clearance I need at the frame but it all looks good. The packs are the top 3 leaves out of my rears and the bottom out leaf (not the over load) of some 56" Chevy springs I had laying around with 4" trimmed off the front of it.  I set one of the 37's in the fender looks like it will clear with out trimming. I was shocked  :yikes: to see that it moved the Axel forward 3"... I guess my Old Man Emu 2" rear springs have the center pin a little closer to the front than stock springs. Looks like I am going to get about 5-6"  of lift over what I had with the almost 2" negative arched front springs that were on the truck before.   plan for tomorrow is go to sears and get my sawzall that is 2 weeks old replaced (motor is full of metal shavings), get the 37's mounted, fab the front  shackles/spacers, install the F150's on the rear and build some shackles for that too. ill get some pics up in a minute the garage laptop SD card reader is on the blink again it might have metal shavings in it too..

15 year old OME springs are 19.25" pin to front and 28.5" pin to rear. Total of  47.75" center to center on the bushings. I had forgotten I put the OME lift on the truck years ago untill I started tearing it down and noticed the partial part numbers painted on the springs.

stock 1984-88 rears 20.5"pin to front, 26.75" pin to rear. Total of 47.25" center to center on the bushings.

OME 2" RUF with a Chevy leaf for a little more arch ... That shock was dead level plumb before I tore it down and is close to plumb in this pic so you can see how far they moved the axle forward.

I also did some mock up on the F150's looks like I can mount them in the stock rear front hanger and they should let me use my stock rear drive shaft with out modification.

The truck is looking good! What did you pull the f-150 leaves from?

The F150's are out of a 95... I think...  There was not much left of the body it had been rolled so... they are 26" front to pin and 30" rear to pin.
Sense the adapter adds just over 6.5" to the tranny and t case  with the lift they will give it should work just right with the old drive shaft.

SO WHERES THIS 4DOOR AT?

Setting in the corner of the garage waiting to be finished.  I gotta put some of these parts on the truck so I have room in my tiny garage to work. right now it is hard to even walk around in there. I did do abunch of mesuring and I have made the a couple of cuts on it but nothing worth posting yet. I try not to work on it when the wife is home she complains about the noise, wish my son would get interested in offroading  but all he cares about is football, basketball, and baseball :reg: which I hate with a passion... but that is a lost cause I am afraid.

Well I am on my short turn around at work so I have been there and not working on my truck but on my one day off today I got the rear springs on, the new third put in, the banana shakles for the front and  the rear shakles built. Finaly got my boy to put down the sports for a day to give me a hand made the day go alot quicker and was good for the heart to see him enjoying him self helping with the truck.

I need to get my high steer on, I just don't have a place to do it or the time right now. My truck is sitting in front of my house basically out of commission due to the long list of stuff I need to do to it. Your truck is looking awesome and makes me want to work on mine! It looks a bit warmer there than it is here though! It was a nice -5*F today.
It looks awesome! Keep it up!

Got the transmission and duals all put together last night gonna wait till my next 3 days off (Tuesday next week) to put it back in. Anyone know if the rear section of an extended cab park brake cable is any longer than a regular cab on a second gen truck. After pushing the rear axle back I am about 6 inches short from it working correctly.
