well hell,  was pulling motor doing some cleaning up an found this

goes across the top of  the frame an wraps down a little,  i do plan on installin ap/ or marlin lift kit with new shock hoops.

think this is repairable or waste of time? time for a new frame?

O man and i thot i had frame problems.  I would clean it up really really good inspect the whole area   take the grinder 2 the crack just a little don't go all the way threw  and weld it :flamer:

you dont have too just asking,  if i had it to do again i'd run a drop drag link and rock on

nah no welder....normal wall outlets.. not sure if theres any thing bigger wired.... ill check      i want too, run hysteer,  just funds never come together for me.. i always blow it on something else...as soon as ui kicks in im gonna budget  for mc or ap kit so i can lift an hysteer at the same time... be down the road a little bit,  unless i win the lottery or inherit some money

do like joe said clean it up, V the crack out a little weld it up, grind it flat then fish plate both sides of the frame. when you weld the crack, weld past the end of the crack by a half inch or so on either end, this will help contain the crack from taking off again  :twocents:

i looked it over a week or so ago, looked like  it got stuffed with a too long  shock, :yikes:

gotta get his motor in and get it down here so i can weld it up,  unless you dad knows someone up there :dunno:

might.... id like to go hysteer but need roughly a 4" lift to run.. but the mc an ap kits are just too expensive for me.....   im leaning toward ome lift again... try to get better highwey ride.... i still gotta get the truck running first... too much time on my hands daydreaming

I suggest RUFs - rears up front. If you're unsure of all that's involved, search over on pirate. They have a great wealth of info on the RUF setups.
