Well, don't think ive wheeled as hard at Hollister as I did today.
What was supposed to be a mellow warm up run with a buddy, turned into an all day adventure.  :woohoo:

Took it on a trail i've never driven my rig on, because i had a new winch.  Used it 5 times today, 3 for my self.  Once, from up a hill to keep a flipped rig right side up while it traversed a section.  Lastly (with another winch as well) to drag the front of my Buddy's flipped rig up a hill so we could right it.

I got some new damage, and the brand new tail light cover I put on yesterday is now shattered today. :hahaha:

Warm up on White Rocks.

Then to the good stuff!

Right under the root that smashes everybodys windshield.  :hahaha:

First winching.

Don't fall in!

I got a little wedged here.

This is where the brand new $60 tail light cover went. :haha:

Just for you Yeller!!!

That is all.  thanks for looking.

OK, I have a couple of projects to do before the round up.

Yesterday, i recieved my high output alternator with double wound stator.  It is a 22re housing so i need to go to the wrecking yard and get the brackets this weekend.  just over 100 amps.

Also, My ARB High volume compressor is currently in shipping.  :woohoo:  Also going to get a 2.5 200psi tank to plumb into the system.  I will have the front locker running straight off the compressor while also being able to fill a tank with a shut off valve.  Well see how it holds up.

This weekend I pull the front end apart to get the 3rd member out. already have an appointment in salinas monday morning for the ARB install.

I cannot wait.

maybee some rock lights before hand.  I seem to do alot of wheeling in the dark. :gap:

Go with the LEDs and some crappy driving lights. LEDs are nice cause you can leave them on forever and the driving lights are really bright!

The LEDs

Slo, where did you get your LEDs? I liked the way yours look.

I'm leaning toward LED's.  I have some already. It's just a matter of wiring them up and soldering everything.  Don't know if I will have that kind of time before the round up.

Got a lot done today.

Got all the hard ware to bolt in the 22re alternator today.

Plus I stripped the front end to get ready for the ARB.

Mmmm BIRF soup!  :hahaha:

All set to take this to the Shop first thing Monday morning to have the ARB installed.  :woohoo:
