Still at $2.88 before club card discount.  Yes, I'm a Freddies man.  But we will see if the pump price goes down.  These prices are based on the $65+ barrel price, but since the barrel started out at less than $60 today, hopefully the pump price will go down.

It's amazing how the barrel price jumps up, the pump price immediately jumps too.  But when the barrel price falls, the pump price takes months to fall.

Another side note, the commodity traders are being investigated again.  Because the commodity price of the oil has jumped up so fast since January, the feds thinks something should be regulated.  They are talking about regulating how much and how soon the commodity can be bought or sold by any one investor.

With the exchange rate and L to US Gal conversion, I think I'm paying anywhere between roughly $3.20 and $3.60 USD a gallon in the areas around Toronto, Kitchener, and Owen Sound. That's at anywhere between CAD $0.85/L (it rarely goes this low, though up in Owen Sound it's closer to this end of the scale) and $1/L. Right now in Toronto it's at about $0.98/L, so about $3.60/gal USD.

Funnily enough, isn't Canada the US's largest oil supplier? Why am I paying what seems like a buck a gallon more than you guys?

its like 2.79 a gal in clovis ca
